I'm 43 and heard this song for the first time ever in my life, TODAY. It was played by a radio station in Northern Wisconsin. Loved it from the opening music. Hooked almost immediately. Where has this song been all my life??
Interesting. So you were like 10-12 yrs old when this song was being played by radio stations as a new release.🔊 Maybe not so much in northern Wisconsin though🤷🏻♂️ i dunno.
I have no idea! I’m 39 now, and I’m from Belgium. I also heard this song on the radio the other day, and I recognized it from my childhood instantly...
What is wrong with you people This song was a big return and comeback for BEE GEES and blasted the whole world, including the Middle East ( i am from Egypt) when it appeared in 1987( i was 19 by that time)
2021 and I am loving the Bee Gees all over again, I'm driving my husband crazy, I have the Bee Gees blaring everyday all day, listening to them makes me feel young again.
Nicola Jones Have you ever listened Paradise ? When I listened Paradise in 1982, I repeated and repeated and repeated until I got bored or something distracted me. The melody, vocal harmony and arrangement are gorgeous. But You Win Again is easy to listen too, enjoyable. So is Ordinary Lives. These songs are excellent.
This song is one of their best in my opinion and my favorite part of it is Robin’s background vocals. Just a great song to start the day. You can feel the passion in all their songs. I love these guys!

To be able to sing in a variety of voice tones shows sheer class. And yet, Saturday Night Fever could NEVER have worked in anything other than a falsetto.
I've listened to this song since it came out never looked at the lyrics till now....The beegees are the greatest song writers that the world has ever know IMHO.
Very few artists that produce music that appeals across the racial lines. The Bee Gees did it with distinction & lived up far aloof that racial divide. Something deep within me tells me that the Bee Gees are first South Africans before being British. Lots of love from South Africa
You like a song when a part of it hits you hard because of how beautiful the rhythm is, or how talented the artist may be. However, it is very rare when every syllable in a song is perfect. Love Robin at the end.
I can’t believe I never heard this song before and I love The Bee Gees! I only found out because It was the answer to a crossword puzzle clue that said “song considered The Bee Gees 2nd best song behind 31a”. The answer to 31a was How Deep Is Your Love. I don’t know if I like it more than, say, Too Much Heaven, Words, I Started A Joke or any other of so many more of their songs that I love.
This played on the radio a few times and I had this on repeat on my mind not knowing the lyrics. I had desperately been trying to look for this song and now that I've found it my life is complete lol. This song is just so wholesome. ❤
I was 12 years and got the ESP kassette for Christmas gift in 1987. Love this song still. The footsteps Flow trough the song after the woman as she struggles with som kind of mental issues. Thats love from a real man.
Such an awesome song, I love it! The Bee Gee's were true stars & their music holds so many happy memoires for me, so thank you Barry, Maurice & Robin - absolute legends!
I was 7 years old when this song came out. This was my very first favourit song that I can remember .And my father was glad that I like the Bee Gees :D
I’m 58 now and feel this song is written after my story. How is it possible when I first heard this in the very beginning of my adult life way back some four decades ago? Strange things happen for men only? Or are all men worldwide connected with the same thread? 🌿
