I am a scuba diver, I currently have a 41mm Series 5 which lready looks decently big on my tiny wrists. Tired on a 44mm at the Store and my wrist just disapperas. I despretly wished there was a smaller version of the Ultra. 49mm just locks out so many people, especially women and also a lot of people in asian markets.
The AW Ultra is speced to have 100 meters of water resistance but the diving ceritification is only for recreational diving down to 40 meters. So the AW could go down to 100m without breaking but I don't think it would allow you to use the dive functionality that deep.
Of all the days for Adam to be home sick. I’m sure he was bummed, but better to be safe for all your coworkers. I hope he feels better soon. I would love to get his take on this watch once he is back in.
WR100 doesn’t mean you can take it down 100m. It’s just a rating system and it’s pretty misleading. WR100 just means you can swim and splash and it’s fine. The Apple Watch Ultra though has been approved for driving to 40m so technically the WR100 is a bit misleading since it would probably pass the WR200 tests.
Not sure if this is something you can check on or verify, but for the second time I watched a video on this channel and it didn't show in my history. I rewatched to make sure it popped up but it also happened on the studio q&a video.

I would love if apple and swatch worked together to make a watch. Yeah I know they kind of hate each other, but I think it would be a win for everyone if they managed to do something together.

Apple has always been amazing at packaging and creating an 'unboxing experience' but the apple watch ultra looks especially nice.

correction- it is rated 100 m for scuba diving officially but only 40 m for high speed water sports.
It's rated for 100 m by the special certification, but apple says to only go to 40 m.
