2024 Acworth-Cobb Dragon boat festival (Music by Queen)

Seventh annual festival on Lake Allatoona supporting cancer patients and survivors. Each colorful boat is 40 foot long with the head and tail of a dragon on each end, filled with 20 paddlers, a drummer, and steer person competing in a high energy race on the water. This athletic and cultural phenomenon originated over 2,000 years ago in Ancient China and is presently the fastest growing sport in the world.
