I like that you are not afraid of big things, massive accessories, dark colors, textures, and I get inspired for the global project of my home interior that I make and I try to be brave too!
Hi! It looks great! The one thing I would do if this were my living room is paint the inside of the faux fireplace a dark color so it would n't be obvious that it isn't real. The light color really stands out. Thanks for your ideas!
This was so fabulous, I see so many interior tours and videos, and what I love is that you kept it soo real (you didn't have to buy all new pieces) and used alternative sources to re-image your place. We all have pieces that we are not crazy about, but are in great shape and super functional, getting creative in up-cycling the look to change the vibe is soo impactful and not to mention fun.! Great Job girl!
So good, love the wall yarn diy. I would paint the inside fireplace behind the wood a warm dark gray and put candles in glass tall containers in front.
one of the many nice things to notice here is the variations of texture -- from the fireplace stone to the wood floor, marble table, sheepskin seat cushion, fabric sofa and different pillows, the fuzzy stuff in the vases, etc. it all really adds to the visual appeal.
I saw that wall art and immediately thought..... she said "on a budget". And then you said you found it at Goodwill for $20 and I don't ever think I've been so envious of a find! Lol.
That should be fairly easy! Get a frame that has Glas on both sides. Get some modge podge (idk how to spell it, I’m German 😅) and some string and then just put down a Plastik bag, make your design, let it dry and then cut it to fit into the frame! If you can’t find a frame wiith two Glas pieces, get the same frame twice from ikea and switch the back of one for the glas.
OMG I discovered your channel few days back and I’m blown away. How can someone be so talented? How can someone be so creative? The ideas, the colours, the diys, everything turns out so amazing. I’ve fallen in love with you and your content. You’re amazing.🌸Keep shining. Much love. ❤️❤️❤️
You showed us a lot of great ideas today. What a difference the pillows make to the couch! ( How about a colored pompom on that white pillow, like the orangey color in the front pillow?) The twine lampshade, the wall art and the new rug make the room look so much more polished! Tfs! Think you need to add a pretty box to the coffee table because that channel changer and stuff is still going to need a home! Some people put seasonal arrangements in the faux fireplaces. Can be fake flowers. Or they paint a scene or saying. Or maybe shelving??? That is the one thing that looked undone but what you did looks fantastic. Hope you enjoy it!!! Very inspiring!!! Makes me see I have no excuses for living in what I call "early relative" (family hand me downs).
love the wallhangings, I need to do a smaller version for myself (because of lack of wall space)! and those wood slices, so beautiful! don't hide the one on your sofa table - the styling looks good, but you can't see that wood slice!
So so happy to see a living room that's NOT all white or white and gray. I like farmhouse but it's taken over!!!! A little leather and chocolate brown is refreshing.
Wow! This is my 3rd video of yours, and seriously, you are THE BEST home designer that I've EVER seen on YT. You have such good taste, and an eye for design. I'm so inspired! Thank you! ♡
This is my first time in 21 year of my life that I'm commenting on a you tube video.. I just want to say that you are the most talented person I've ever seen.. And your transformations are the best so far
I absolutely love everything you did to your living room, it looks fabulous. 😊 I have one suggestion that I think could make it look even better which is if you had a mirror (or contact paper mirror) cut to fit the square shape in the fireplace (behind the current cut wood blocks). Then if you put some kind of wicker basket in front of the mirror with copper wire led lights loosely gathered in it to simulate a real fire. The mirror would reflect the light and the lights come with a remote control with different settings so you could have them flickering, or on fade, or permanent setting depending on which you prefer. That way you could have the look of a fire while you watch TV. The copper LED lights only cost around $20 on Amazon, so are not expensive and I think it would look amazing
I love the wall decor and the fireplace scene on the TV. It makes the room relaxing and cosy. The new pillows give the couch a whole new vibe. Thanks for sharing. Tina
Wow you are such a talented woman. Love the way you transformed your living room. Your inspirational! I'm trying to do some transformations around the house during lockdown.
What a wonderful job u did! Yor color scheme is perfect for the living rm and u made it feel warm and cozy like a rm should with a fire place. U are very talented. A suggestion that u may or may not like is maybe use some candles in yor fireplace? And set them on a pedestal of wood or what u love ☺️ This video was great and i enjoyed it very much.
I have been binge watching your videos and now seems like just as good as any to tell you that this channel is my new favorite thing. I also thrift and upcycle and its so great to see someone who does it on literally a NEW level. I appreciate your instructions and that you aren't shy to buy what you need if it cant be made
Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed watching your makeover! Great ideas and love that you incorporated so many natural elements. Wonderful use of the 2nd hand items as well, love that people are so willing these days to upcycle/repurpose items giving them another opportunity to make someone happy. TYFS!
I have a tiny living room with 3 doors so pretty restricted but watching you pull the room together and make it look really comfortable and chic has inspired me to have a go. I also have to keep some of the furnishings but it would be great to think I could make it look half as good as yours Well done x
I love your color scheme. Your decor style is very different from what I use but I still learn a lot from watching your channel. I just take what I can use and just enjoy watching the rest.
Everything about this is PERFECT!!! I wouldn't change a thing about the decor but if I could make one suggestion it would be to either paint (or use contact paper or something temporary) to make the fireplace opening black or charcoal. I think it would look less "faux" that way. Amazing job!!
Ooo that could be fun!! I made a teepee for my dog, but definitely want to make more things for her 🤗 the teepee / leash video is up on my channel if you want to check it out
Im obsessed with watching diy videos, So far I've watched over a hundred diy videos bought at least 500 dollar worth diy supplies and have not done 1 project smh. I salute you all for these diy videos time and effort, hopefully a month from now I can stop being lazy and just start somwhere.
I loved the reveal. I loved the slower pans and the slower allover pans you did in this video. It was perfect. A++++++ I also love wall the wall hangings you have been doing. I have yet to tackle what I want to do. I'm in the middle of getting ready to move so I really dont want to premade any before I get all my new furniture picked out and put in. O want to make sure my hangings coordinate with what my new space will look like. I'm just filing away all the Inspo I've jeen getting from you, LoneFox and a few other of my new favorites.
I think it is on part of making it cosy. I do see what you mean, but it is very functional still even though, and the fact that it was made with what she already had. It is quite a small space. Maybe it would be an interesting topic for further video(s) to see how it would look like with lighter furniture. She has the skills and would give a chance to get more inspirations, do like 10 different styles. Maybe she could do a deal with the local trift store that they would allow her to borrow furniture and things and she would then mention their store... And us subs would give her a challenges, like you, to make it look less crammed, of course, on a budget.
Beautiful!! No pompoms on the other pillow... what about some curtains/sheers for the windows? I love your ideas, the lamp is genius! Also, my tip for pillow covers is that you can make them "envelope style" in the back (unsewn) to change them out for washing the covers and/or changing them for holidays.
Ok, the yarn designs. Genius!!! I’m doing it!’ Only thing that triggered the trypophobia in me.... 😖 was that frame at 10:25 no no i felt weird immediately 🤮😑
You are a great inspiration! I am an Interior Decorator and I have always been inspired by your work. I love the how make over of any space that you had done before. Continue to inspire us!
Loved the transformation! Also, really liked the DIY ideas. Couple of suggestions- the DIY on both sides don't need to be symmetrical. They can be different. And I felt that though the color scheme is sophisticated, it could do with a bold ochre or real accent just to lift it up a little bit.
Not sure if this a weird question lol, but, what do you use to hang your decor on the walls or like the wooden things? I always seem to have a harder time deciding what is heavy duty enough for certain things or certain decor
Omg you bring me life with your channel!!! ❤ I'm so happy i found you on here. I've been dealing with major mental health issues and have had zero motivation or interests in anything until i found your channel. I now want to go back to my crafty ways. Litterally you give me life. 💞
YES! YES! YES! to Pom Poms!!! 😍😍😍 Since your fireplace doesn't actually work, how about a few birch logs in a beautiful basket large enough to fill that space? I think it would help balance the weightiness of the TV so the mantle doesn't look too heavy. I think the plain wood is to small by itself. The birch would tie in with your grey sofa. I would use a larger size basket. Maybe even get a fire poker set to help add weight as well. 🙂
Everything you did looks amazing. The wall hangings are my favorite. The only detractor in the room are the blinds. I just made my blinds into Roman shades. It’s a cool DIY. I’m sure you would do an amazing job.
I cannot believe those yarn things gave the room so much depth. The whole room has changed into a really cozy place with great vibes!! Good job!
It's amazing how much you have changed! Even your voice has changed! I'm rewatching all of your old videos and loving it!
I really like how you incorporate what you already have and add thrift store and discount store products. Great job!
Thanks so much!! 😘💕
I like that you are not afraid of big things, massive accessories, dark colors, textures, and I get inspired for the global project of my home interior that I make and I try to be brave too!
Thank you so much!! 💕 I definitely don’t play it safe when it comes to design I love to experiment and see how unexpected items come together 🤗
Hi! I would like to thank you for motivating me, i struggle with depression and your videos really make my day brighter!
I'm right there with you. You got this! ♥️✨
britney tears thanks! ♥️
Kai Starlight you are stronger than you think ❤️
Betiel Tewelde thank you! ❤️
Me too! Never dull in her, she's amazing!
Hi! It looks great! The one thing I would do if this were my living room is paint the inside of the faux fireplace a dark color so it would n't be obvious that it isn't real. The light color really stands out. Thanks for your ideas!
Yes that's what I thought as well. I'm so going to use the lampshade trick..looks really good.
The room looks wonderful, great job.
I love that you talk about your thought process beforehand; it sets you apart from everybody else!
Every time I watch DIY vids I just want to go on a spree and make my own furniture
Yeah me too I already bought wood
Elsa W same girl same!
Same. Then I get intimidated and buy things instead lol
Yes ebay
me too
I saw that wall art and immediately thought..... she said "on a budget". And then you said you found it at Goodwill for $20 and I don't ever think I've been so envious of a find! Lol.
Gymworldtumbler17 the only reason I'm watching was to see how to make the wall art.. of course it's an amazing one of a kind find
The space now looks very sophisticated. Love the custom wall hangings and organic wood pieces.💝
OMG I discovered your channel few days back and I’m blown away. How can someone be so talented? How can someone be so creative? The ideas, the colours, the diys, everything turns out so amazing. I’ve fallen in love with you and your content. You’re amazing.🌸Keep shining. Much love. ❤️❤️❤️
I freakin love the wall accents with the yarn 🧶
I’m inspired and gonna create my own 🦋
Thank you!
Yay 🤗💕
I love the idea of pairing those warm tones with the dark grey! So beautiful!❤️
I love this! Such a great transformation! The yarn wall art is so good
Thanks so much 😘💕
Yes, new idea
I love how the wicker wall hangings turned out. I am definitely adding them to my project list❤️
My husband and I are moving into our first house and I’m so glad I found your channel! We love thrifting and DIY’s. You’re so talented ❤️
Theresa Martinez congrats! I love the diy for pillows
That fire effect is frightening. Love the final design. (Except the flames)
My favorite makeover so far! Your puppy is perfect "styled" on the couch!
You showed us a lot of great ideas today. What a difference the pillows make to the couch! ( How about a colored pompom on that white pillow, like the orangey color in the front pillow?) I like being ‘’DIFFERENT ‘’, and the fireplace above the mantle is definitely DIFFERENT but cozy.
WOOOOOWW! So many great decor pieces, but those wall hangings??? Next level gorgeous.
Thanks so much 😘💕
Ahhhh so cute and cozy!!!
Thank you so much!!! LOVE your channel!! You’re so creative! 😘💕
👍👍👍👍💓💓💓💓💓💓
Yes to the Pom poms. I love the yarn DIY! I feel like those dried flowers are covering the beautiful west elm art piece.
So warm & inviting.
love the wallhangings, I need to do a smaller version for myself (because of lack of wall space)! and those wood slices, so beautiful! don't hide the one on your sofa table - the styling looks good, but you can't see that wood slice!
So so happy to see a living room that's NOT all white or white and gray. I like farmhouse but it's taken over!!!! A little leather and chocolate brown is refreshing.
First youtube diy I actually want to implement in my home. You have amazing style.
Wow thanks so much! 🥰
I love how you combined two yarns together It does creates some highlights and depth to it
Super cute! Love the warm toned browns.
Not a huge fan of how busy the coffee table is though. I would probably just have like one or two items on it
Then you do what you like on your coffee table ! This is hers & that's the way she likes it !
Wow! This is my 3rd video of yours, and seriously, you are THE BEST home designer that I've EVER seen on YT. You have such good taste, and an eye for design. I'm so inspired! Thank you! ♡

Omg you’re too kind 🥰 thank you so much for commenting
You have inspired me to do the hanging macrame! Can you share how much yarn is needed for one half-moon?
Is it me or is it strange to have a scene of a fireplace above a real fire place? 🤔
Livingboldlynfierce I think it’s just a decorative fireplace, but I agree that it’s kinda weird.
🤷🏼♀️ I don’t have a real fireplace it’s just the mantle .. makes no sense at all lol but I love the vibe of a fire so I improvised
Where’s the real fireplace ?
@@XOMaCenna then girl live your best life and do you. Lol
its just the TV that is way too big for that spot, really throws the scale off
I absolutely love everything you did to your living room, it looks fabulous. 😊
I have one suggestion that I think could make it look even better which is if you had a mirror (or contact paper mirror) cut to fit the square shape in the fireplace (behind the current cut wood blocks). I LOVE the yarn hangings they are so cute!! I will definitely be adding that to my project list!
I love the wall decor and the fireplace scene on the TV. It makes the room relaxing and cosy. The new pillows give the couch a whole new vibe. Thanks for sharing. Tina
The update came out beautifully. Looks warm and cozy.
Wow you are such a talented woman. Love the way you transformed your living room. Your inspirational! I'm trying to do some transformations around the house during lockdown.
Aww thank you so much! 🥰

Thanks so much!! && totally candles are a great idea!! I imagine pillar candles at different heights all clustered together! So pretty 😍
Loving this! All that natural texture and the pampas grass is such a delight.
I don't know how I found you I subbed I love your calm energy and the dog, love your creativity
Omg!!!! Sewing in the floor!!!! Awesome!!!!! You have saved my procrastinating LIFE!!!!😍

I have been binge watching your videos and now seems like just as good as any to tell you that this channel is my new favorite thing. I love seeing your dog, it like knows when to be in the shots haha
absolutely love the warmth in this room. You find such beautiful thrifted items. Love this room and love Kingsley!
Absolutely brilliant.
I especially like the wall hangings!
Absolutely love the wall hangings you created. Also wrapping the lampshade was genius! The room looks so warm now. Just fabulous 💖
Yes to the pom poms on the pillow girl!!!
Your dog baby is sssooo precious
I love the wall tapestries! I went to Joanns a couple weeks ago and we did the same color palette 😂 thanks for the constant inspo
Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed watching your makeover! Great ideas and love that you incorporated so many natural elements. Wonderful use of the 2nd hand items as well, love that people are so willing these days to upcycle/repurpose items giving them another opportunity to make someone happy. TYFS!
I really love this makeover its really my type and style, it’s also bring the boho type that i like. Can’t wait for more DIY and room makeover. 👌🏻❤️🔥
I have a tiny living room with 3 doors so pretty restricted but watching you pull the room together and make it look really comfortable and chic has inspired me to have a go.
I also have to keep some of the furnishings but it would be great to think I could make it look half as good as yours
Well done x
Absolutely love the yarn. Wall hangings. Think I might have to make some
Your home is gorgeous and color coordinated so well. Thank you for the tutorial. All the textures and neutral decor truly enhanced the space.
The room looks great. Love the wall hangings you made!
I love your color scheme. Your decor style is very different from what I use but I still learn a lot from watching your channel. I just take what I can use and just enjoy watching the rest.
I love the wall hanging I saw them on Pinterest I’m obsessed with i tried to figure out how to make one ...thank you I will definitely make some

Loved the room especially those wall hangings, I would love to see your take on some pet diys, like dog beds etc if you haven’t done any already 😁
Ooo that could be fun!! I made a teepee for my dog, but definitely want to make more things for her 🤗 the teepee / leash video is up on my channel if you want to check it out

the wall decor was AMAZING! and the twine lamp shade trick is genius
I really love your decor items but I sometimes feel like they are too big or too many for the size of your living room. The space feels crammed.
I think it is on part of making it cosy. I do see what you mean, but it is very functional still even though, and the fact that it was made with what she already had. It is quite a small space. Completely agree it’s just too much each time!
Beautiful!! No pompoms on the other pillow... what about some curtains/sheers for the windows? I love your ideas, the lamp is genius! Wow really cool ideas for the living room, can’t wait to do my own decorating now. Hugs from Sweden 🇸🇪
WOW, loved this. You legit have one of the most unique styles I've seen on any of these design channels. Keep it up!
omg i loved this! the diy’s were so good
I keep coming back to this living room decor, I am so crazy for all of your designs and colors.
i dont understand why there is some people who doesnt like this :O
Nice! I like how warm and cozy this space feels. Before it was less inviting. Now I’d want to curl up with a good book. Great job.
Yes to the pompoms👍
I am so jealous of that goodwill find. That little section of the room just looks ridiculously good!!
I couldn’t believe I found it to be honest!!! 💕 thanks so much 😘💕
I love it all!!! But I got so much anxiety when she put the decor on the edge of the coffee table. I was like "I would definitely knock that over"
Annette Aldaco
😂
Yeah me too lol
With candles lit and everything lol
Exactly 😝
Wow!! Great yarn wall pieces!!!!
She looks like how the Olsen twins were supposed to look
i agree
Lina Abouzalam I agree
👍👍👍💓💓💓💓💓💓
Lol. Yeah!
Love all the textures and Earth tones brings so much warmth to the room. Great job!
And now she is redecorating this living room.....
You did a really good job incorporating old and new buys. Like the color scheme as well
Ok, the yarn designs. Genius!!! I’m doing it!’
Only thing that triggered the trypophobia in me.... 😖 was that frame at 10:25 no no i felt weird immediately 🤮😑
You are a great inspiration! I am an Interior Decorator and I have always been inspired by your work. I love the how make over of any space that you had done before. Continue to inspire us!
I'd put pom poms on the other plain pillow.
That came out so good!! Your room and wall art looks better than the inspo pics!! Great job!!
the coffee table makes me feel uncomfortable idk why
Kiera Thomas, I KNOW RIGHT 💯.
Maybe it's the wrong style and color ...😆
Funny because i love it
Because its not balanced.
Every has there own taste you can never please everyone.
That fringe hanging diy is genius! I love your style too.
Too much stuffs on the coffee table
@Cookie O...I did think a bit too much on the coffee table too.
Great transformation. Love all the warm earthy tones and wood. The wall hangings are very cool and chic
Omg thank you so much! I’m so glad the videos are helpful! DIYing is therapeutic for me hoping it’s the same for you 🥰
Looks great ! Looks refreshed !!
It turned out so warm and beautiful. I especially loved the yarn wall decor.
Thanks so much 😘💕
That wall art project is so beautiful! I'm definitely stealing this idea for my daughter's room.
Well done 👏! Really good 👍
Oh my goodness!!! Fabulous!!! The placemats and yarn idea is awesome!!!
YES! YES! YES! to Pom Poms!!! 😍😍😍
Since your fireplace doesn't actually work, how about a few birch logs in a beautiful basket large enough to fill that space?
I think it would help balance the weightiness of the TV so the mantle doesn't look too heavy. I think the plain wood is to small by itself. The birch would tie in with your grey sofa. I would use a larger size basket. Maybe even get a fire poker set to help add weight as well.
🙂
Everything you did looks amazing. The wall hangings are my favorite. The only detractor in the room are the blinds. I just made my blinds into Roman shades. It’s a cool DIY. I’m sure you would do an amazing job.
