I took out my new Rebel SLS 2023 and tested it out land boarding, throwing some loops and getting high! it was an epic session.

Woah, this is sooo inspiring. I'm a rollerblader (slowly) getting into powerkiting and my aim is to use my off-road skates with a kite. I'm pretty sure I'll never reach the skill level (and heights) of you guys, but this video surely convinces me to keep going. So much fun! 💪
That's great to hear Tim, yes you can roller kite no problem, you can trick on them too, just need to work on the kite control loads first 👍
What size is that kite? And how much wind would you say that was?
9m Duotone REBEL SLS and it was about 25mph winds I'd think
@@DavidUrsell thanks. That helps me know what to expect I have a 5M starter wing & get frequent steady 20-25ish winds at the coast.
@bikemystic what type of wing? If it's a foil kite they have more power for the same size

I like to start do this. I was started fly on paramotor only in uk is a lots raining days and I am worry about my paramotor wing. This ride and fly is like nice paramotor cover 😎

We missed you Lewis! yeah this was 2 really nice sessions over two consecutive days or very close to each other just before the cold snap, it was awesome!
And Yup the Rebel is so silky smooth through the loops you will love it when you try it!

ATB mit Kite ist immer noch der geilste Scheiß.
Lots of wing surfing about, it's a more accessible sport for people but kite boarding in my opinion on land or water is much more fun 🤩 glad you enjoy it mate, happy new year!
Es gibt viel Wingsurfen, es ist ein zugänglicherer Sport für Menschen, aber Kiteboarden macht meiner Meinung nach an Land oder auf dem Wasser viel mehr Spaß 🤩

what trainer kite would you recommend for starting up?
Flexifoil big buzz is a good cheap power kite to start and have fun in 8-15mph winds if your big enough and as you get better use in more wind. Just get some instruction for flying launching and safety etc

We're in Essex in the UK, the sunshine coast, this was filmed just before the cold snap that chilled the whole of the UK 😄😄 hopefully it'll get toasty warm again soon!
