Ish's assessment of songwriting in regards to Puff's latest album can be said for the large majority of music today. A lot of music that I hear sounds good and sounds dope but the lyricism and singing on a wide variety of music, especially in hip-hop and R&B are so mediocre and lacklustre. It isn't what it used when I first started listening to hip-hop and R&B music back in the mid to late 90s.
PS Nonetheless, Ish is bugging about Nas's new album Magic 3, an incredibly good album. That to me is in the top 3 of the 6 album series that Nas just dropped.
