Real talk tho...when I discuss what a feminine woman is...the type of woman that im attracted to...most of those traits benefit me...a masculine man and a feminine woman is supposed to benefit each other...
Karlous is smart avoiding answering that question. Men speaking on masculinity is the equivalent of white people speaking on the plight of black people. It's a no win situation when you a male and in the public eye to define what traditional masculinity is
As a 55 year old man I've come to realize that we have to cry sometime we can't keep holding our feelings in because they will come out in the wrong way speaking from experience
I hate the fact that sometimes as a male some people do not want us to operate out of our emotions. Why is it that we cant express our emotions or have to be the ones who have to hold back emotions. Operating out of emotions can be wrong for any sex, but it does not make me less of a man if I do. When it comes to emotional maturity I think everyone should try to practice it. Its not gonna be perfect all the time but we should all practice it. I understand there are actual chemical changes in women that can affect their emotions though, but even that can vary from person to person.
If Your uterus lining completely falls out every single month ,and leaks Outside of your body and leaves your whole back and abdomen in childbirth like contractions , and often debilitating Pain, emotionally VULNERABLE, what do You have to be that emotional about? Genuinely curious.
@@rhemnant What you described is a very valid reason to be emotional. At the same time it does not make other people's situations not valid. loss, death, physical pain (as you mentioned), depression ect. Those are all thngs that can cause someone to be emotional.
The woman said she likes when a man doesn’t meet her on her notional level. But women think it’s ok to try to meet a man on his level concerning masculinity. You can’t have it both ways
Right. Women say one thing that sounds good on a bumper sticker. But in real life, they challenge even the strongest, most masculine men. Then, they feel betrayed when he swaps her for a pleasing, compliant woman.
Masculinity and femininity is a spectrum. We all fall on different parts of said spectrum. The real part is knowing where you as a person land and taking into consideration where your partner lands as well. Know yourself and take time to ACTUALLY know your partner and move accordingly.
i feel like the more we talk about this issue the more confusing it becomes. Theres too many defintions for things nowadays that dont allow us to actual "see" whats right in front us...if that makes any sense. karlous hit it on the head at the beginning
Yesssss I agree Karlous hands 🙌 okayyyyyy a lil more aggressive or assertive raising a son a lil more gentle but still watch your emotions raising a daughter overall self sufficient indeed
Say the bs again 😂everybody can say some real Shit my brother It only take one bad sentence and I catch on to how a person really is 💯 What people need to do is be EQUALLY YOKED💯
Dont have me on this show, there's some things that has to be said about women and masculine, feminine and men, old school and new school, single mothers and boys, social media and dating, boys and men, girls and women,
For the woman in the middle to bring up her dad and then trash him with indirect bad examples of men in leadership positions. Using the white feminist term "toxic masculinity" with a confident speaking voice proves her false sense of her own feminity. Karlous wasn't as prepared for this to come out as a more knowledgeable representative spokes person. I'm unsure if he was prepped with the topic of discussion. Misandry is not a sport but feminists violently disagree of course. Masculinity w Karlous Miller as guest I'm not just a Uniform
The idea of masculinity and femininity is so irrelevant to how you should raise someone. Forget those words, focus on instilling values. Properly raising someone means teaching them principles and morals. Teach them how to take care of themselves and be self-sufficient. Teach them to think for themselves. I wouldnt assign any of these things to being masculine or feminine. Be a respectable individual that can manage their problems
right los, everything is not for discussion. Because Women want masculinity to be something thats in benefit to them and men who want femininity will be looked at as misogynistic, toxic masculinity which will turn into this "i am woman hear me roar" debate about women being independent and dont need a man, while complaining about needing a man.... and some more BS... just let it be
There is no such thing as toxic masculinity. It's just toxic, masculine or feminine makes no difference.... Mostly I see men meeting feminine energy with feminine energy and its toxic but just cause he's a man doesn't make his masculinity toxic it just makes him toxic AND vice-versa fasho. I've never heard to phrase coined "toxic femininity" 🤷🏿♂️
Can we just admit that we need the balance between mother and father! And stop letting society make us think otherwise
I agree 👍🏾
Agreed.
No....
I watch lous long enough to see him get old enough to sit comfortably with his leg crossed like he wanted😭

Men and women gotta be self sufficient. Karlous made great points, but the ladies held there own👏🏾👏🏾.
I was taught as a child don't cry suck it up and that came from my mom so me expressing my emotions has always been hard for me.
Ask a woman what’s masculinity and she’s going to describe something that benefits her
Real talk tho...when I discuss what a feminine woman is...the type of woman that im attracted to...most of those traits benefit me...a masculine man and a feminine woman is supposed to benefit each other...
Dang fam!! That was the realist and most basic answer I've ever heard! Fact

Traditional masculinity was shaped by oppressors be yourself
Don't dilute an endless discussion with another one by comparing them. But I agree with the last part
i love karlous

I agree holding that shit in it has to come out eventually. Alot of times when a man is not acknowledged as a human. That shit can turn evil.

There’s a balance that exists between men and women this absolutely necessary!!!
That's a cold move , they tried him tho hahahaha the moment they find the right person this going more then 10 min 😂😂😂
The term toxic masculinity blurred the lines with true masculinity!
The woman said she likes when a man doesn’t meet her on her notional level. But women think it’s ok to try to meet a man on his level concerning masculinity. You can’t have it both ways
