My Grandparents lived and married there before relocating to Cuba 🇨🇺 I had the honor of visiting beautiful Panama and Magnificent Cuba where my father was born .
Magnificence Cuba...yure pushing it..... Beaches are cayos full of sand flies with shallow water.yu cant swim Thers nothing great in Cuba...and i visited all around as far as the last village before guantanamo
I used to fish in the Perlas Islands. I also visited the San Blas Islands. My wife probably spent some of her most happy times there. I spent 5 years there. I especially liked the cooler and interesting area north of Panama City. Just a short drive from the cooler region was the sandy Pacific Coast. I have heard many retired Americans have moved there. I was constantly amazed how young Panamanian girls would rush up and admire my 2 young daughters. One of daughters, born in Panama, has dual citizenship.

Excellent depiction of my beloved Panama. You told its story perfectly. I lived there in the 1990’s & have been back several times. I have been all over the country. You did a superb job of explaining each place & giving very factual information about it. Thank you for fact checking. This was a great walk down memory lane for me. I miss it so much. It’s the people & her beauty that I know some day it will be my home again. Well done.
It seems that the Kuna people practice matriarchy in terms of inheritance and ownership, and a form of communism in terms of economic structure. I lived at Ft Kobbe in 1967-70 as a dependent of a USAF officer. It was an idyllic place at that time. I remember my parents went out to the San Blas Islands from time to time. Mother said that they (Kuna) ate a lot of fish and green banana soup (this from the memory of a 5 yr old).
God, thank you for every nation, every tribe, every tongue and every life. Thank you for your plan, your purpose and your will for my life. Thank you for your good timing and plan and purpose for all lives. Thank you for protecting your people. Thank you for all believers. Thank you for protection from mob mentalities. In Jesus mighty name. Amen 🙏 Thank you for deliverance from strikes, hits and kicks. Thank you for deliverance from all evil. Thank you for deliverance from being strangled. Thank you God for all people In Jesus mighty name. Amen 🙏Everyday. 😊
" Thank you for your good timing and plan and purpose for all lives." Sorry but I don't agree with his plans for my forefathers from Afrika. Slavery was a mother,,
My dad was station there in ww2,and he said that there were still head hunters in the local jungles areas and he got to watch how they shrunk a human head.
We do eat fish and chips, PANAMA is a native word meaning; abundance of fish and butterflies, this happens in August, when PANAMA gets invaded by butterflies.
panama is in central America, "It is bordered by Costa Rica to the west, Colombia to the southeast, the Caribbean Sea to the north, and the Pacific Ocean to the south." Just like Mexico has a part in the Caribbean, Cancun is part of the Caribbean. Panama got their independence from Columbia in 1903.
0:11 'In a world where natural wildness is increasingly rear and indigenous people are gradually disappearing" 😕 A true fact of Capitalism pandemic 😪 😐
Fabulous video. Thank you. I do think that the figures you quote are not very accurate (population, number of ships through the canal, cost thereof, etc). But a great insight. 👍
My neighbor was 30 years a canal Ship's Captain. When ships enter the canal the captain has to cede command to a Canal Ships Captain to take it through. Can't risk some drunk Russian grain ship captain "bumping" his way along. One of the most intensely negotiated points of the return treaty was when the US lease on the Zone expired US military ships would not cede command as it was a complete violation of military code as ceding command to a non-US Navy captain is considered a surrender, an act of war. So, when you see a US Navy or Coast Guard ship traversing the canal they'll be the only ships not under command of a Canal Ship's Captain.
" Can't risk some drunk Russian grain ship captain "bumping" his way along" You must be a product of the cold war era, always got to take a jab at them Russians,,. Bloody shame!
Moved here in 2019. The canal absolutely fascinates me. Love it. This country and its special way of life (mañana mañana) have brought me peace and pleasure. Gracias Panama 🇵🇦 ❤
The best banking system in all Latin America, please stop crying about this and update your information! Is not a tax heaven, Just a very good and reliable banking system preferred by many renowned people (Some of them corrupt) it is not our fault but we have worked on that situation🇵🇦🙄🇵🇦
They say the same about Switzerland just for having a good banking system, but They treat us even worse, they drag us down and focus on tarnishing our reputation just for not being European... You fail to attract foreign investment, it is not our problem. Is a "YOU" problem
It's been suggested we consume less fish, but poor regions/countries have little option. Consequences of Fukushima will devastate our health for many moons to come.

Kind of funny... I've been to that exact church and they told me the reason for the black Madonna. The Christians wanted to convert the black natives to Christianity.
Vraiment! Aux lieux de faire comme le Ghana qui commence à accueillir les Afro Américains depuis des années et leur offre une terre natale tant désirée. Chez nous dans les deux Congo on cherche encore à durer au pouvoir.

imagine telling the original inhabitants that they should not slash and burn. Hell, they were doing so before the Europeans came.

They succeeded, folks down here are hard core defenders of Europeans gift to them. Hale-luhja,,

Not only in the Darien. Inland and West, obesity seems more and more rife.
The indigenous population has grown from 6% in the year 2000 to 13% in 2024 so this narrator just lied.
