BDC Parfum is a big time performer for me. Lasts 10+ hours easily. First time I wore it, I sprayed it on at around 1pm in a Sephora in Denver. Walked around that day, went to a Rockies game at night. Walked back the hotel afterwards. I could STILL smell it with zero problem at 11 p.m. I didn't overspray cause that's be weird in store. If I could only have two designer frags, I'd go DHP for cool and cold weather and BDC Parfum for warm and hot weather. I find both to be very special and they are, IMO, the best designer frags.

I've been on the fence about purchasing Declaration but the moment you said the ladies love it sold me on adding it to my collection. Getting compliments by women on my daily rotation makes my day!
That's been my experience with this one. Its clean and spicy smells great.

Funny you tried declaration. I got the discontinued Declaration D’un Soir.
I wore Ani today. Some RUclipsrs in Europe said Ani was reformulated. The 2022 and latest, it’s reformulated.
The previous versions are beast.
Here is my rotation.
Monday: Declaration D’un Soir by Cartier (amazing rose fragrance, sadly discontinued)
Tuesday: Interlude Black Iris by Amouage
Wednesday: Bentley for men (the OG)
Thursday: Mystery Tobacco by Carolina Herrera private line
Friday: Sand Dessert at Sunset by Zara
Saturday: Dior Homme Parfum. Enough said.

Wow, a bunch of great wears for your week! The Eau Electrique sounds great, and I've been meaning to look into Declaration. I have Declaration Dun Soir, which I love. So glad you liked the Equipage, I actually wore it Saturday! I have a recent formulation, and although it's good, it doesn't have the spicy sparkle of the vintage. My last week: Sun- Armani Code Absolu, Mon- Lattafa Sheikh Al Shuyukh Luxe, Tues- received Acqua di Parma Oud and wore it and Wed as well, Thurs received Acqua di Parma Sandalo and wore it Fri as well, and Sat- vintage Equipage. Crazy Ohio weather, looks like a warm week ahead but I'm not done with cold weather fragrances!

Sorry, but the YSL bleu is not worth 54 dollars for a 5ml decant...have they lost thier damn minds!?
It's Eau not Bleu...but yeah, they are straight up out of their minds to charge that much for a 5ml of a frag like that.
Especially when you consider that when Eau Electrique is available at Fragbuy, a 60ml is like 73 bucks...
You said it. Not even Bleu Electrique is worth that.
Yea its not bleu but it appears to be harder to find than I thought. This was the cheapest and most widely available LNDH frag less than a year ago.
@gerardgeorge I guess this one slipped past my radar, I had no idea it sold out and shot up in price like that, it's a shame. I guess Eau Electrique is now in the same boat as something like Frozen Cologne. It was okay in its time, maybe even really good, but nowhere near worth the asking price.
Funny enough, Eau Electrique was initially a sort of replacement for Frozen Cologne and now that's gone too. What a shame.
I prefer L'homme Ideal Extreme over the EDP myself. I have both, but I rarely reach for the EDP.

If you find Ideal Extreme a bit feminine, maybe try Ideal L'Intense, I find it the most masculine of them all.

Very interesting fragrances Gerard. I keep kicking the tires on Guerlain fragrances but may come around soon. Also the Bleu Electrique is the discontinued one. This Eau Electrique I believe is pretty easily accessible still. My rotation this week:

Fri: Eros Flame
Sat: Armani Absolutely (I let my bottle macerate for a year without wearing it and let me tell you I sprayed it and it blew me away how rich and smooth it has become. I was receiving compliments all day and night from all age ranges which really surprised me)

Let me see if I can get a sample out to you from my 2 1/2 yr old bottle. I think you will end up getting it so I would be interested to see what your opinion would be of an aged juice vs one coming out of the new bottle. I was not huge on it when I got it due to some factors but this last year of sitting as a half bottle did wonders@@gerardgeorge
I do have a 6.5 oz of the cartier declaration. My mom loves that scent 😂

I was not a fan of the Guerlain Extreme either for the same reason, leans fem to me. Glad I got a decant and not a full bottle. Did last a good amount of time on me but a pass for me. Blessings to you and your fam. Great video as always!

40 Knotts is a great one. One of the first Xerjoff’s I bought. It’s not that expensive either, can’t remember what I paid but I think around $100 for 50ml. On me it’s woody, powdery and has a lot of Amber, but you can pull it off in summer.

Recently bought nishane ani and loved it from first sniff. That opening from the citrus with the vanilla smells so edible and mouthwatering but my wife and mother in law do not like it lol. It reminds them of palmers cocoa butter.
That's tough. Once you have a scent association with a fragrance its hard to change it! As long as you like it though.

Enjoying it by the time it finishes. Fragrances are subjective and I refuse to not wear a fragrance because my wife doesn’t like it and she wouldn’t like it if I did that too.
Somehow I ended up with the 3 major Declaration flankers (Essence, D’Un Soir, and Parfum) but never bought the original. I really think Cartier is a top notch designer. I’ve been wanting to pickup Hermes Equipage for a while. I bought Bel Ami last fall from Macys - had a bunch of gift cards - and it is 🔥🔥. Hermes is my favorite designer house - everything they do is elegant, unique, and gentlemanly.
I absolutely agree. What is your favorite between D'Un Soir and the Parfum?
@@gerardgeorge D’Un Soir by a nose (for the uniqueness), but the Parfum is a banger too! I’ve seen people compare the Parfum to Dior Homme Parfum, but I’ve never smelled DHP, so I can’t compare. I highly recommend both!

I ended up selling my YSL bleu electrique after finding an excellent dupe for it as it lacked in performance. Dupe is fragrance world - Jack of clubs which is much stronger and smells 98% the same.
I'll have to give it a try this is one of my favorites. Probably bringing it with me to florida this weekend.

I agree 100 percent about Ideal l’omme extreme being feminine in my opinion it smells like an older women’s fancy nite out like a powdery Dr Pepper with almond haha which I don’t get so much of with the EDP but both aren’t something I enjoy very much . Thanks for the shout out .

I love lhomme ideal extreme, get the feminine vibe though. Not smelled the edp , is it redundant if youve got the extreme??
No I think they are pretty different.
Just got my decant in of bdc edp, first time smelling any of the bdc line, great scent but idk if its worth the 150$ or not. Gotta give ut a few wearings before i decide that.
That BDC EDP sucks for me sadly. It smells like old lady after shower powder.-on me. But on other people's skin it smells amazing.
BDC EDP is okay, but the Parfum is next level.
BDC for me has always been one that isn't quite worth it to me.
@@gerardgeorge I just gave away some of my longest tenured frags in my collection. BDC EDP, Dior Homme 2020, The One EDP and Layton (I actually have three 10ml Layton travel sizes left cause I got my Layton is a gift set of bottle and three 10mls). Enjoyed all four of them but, ultimately, got bored with them. My best friend has them now and he gets to enjoy them for the first time the way I did two, three years ago. BDC Parfum though...never going away.🙂

Lhomme ideal is sort of unisex to me, but not the extreme. That's a masculine fragrance, to me.
Yea the skin can change a scent greatly.
Unfortunately, all of these are out of my price range and not easily gotten. I'll have to stick with the clones for now. Thank you.

I love bleu electrique. But I gave it to someone in trade. I got it cheap so I hooked him up. I felt like, well, i should share the love lol But man. I miss it a lot lol

BDC parfum is amazing. Idk why but it reminds me of Abercrombie and fitch fierce, do you agree?
I don't get that personally but they are both fresher aromatics.
This a boring take but an honest one. You cant go wrong with BLEU DE CHANEL Parfum, newbie or fraghead its great. If your new and dont want to waste money just get this
