Yes they did, Dime loved Jeff's clean tone and Jeff loved Dimes distortion, i remember on Facebook Jeff said in a comment on a post about Dimebag the distortion tone on Carnival Daiblos was very inspired by Dime
I love how many little tasters of Megadeth influence are in this album, the two greatest metal bands for me, Deth would have been awesome if Dime and Vinnie had joined, but at the same time the absolute best outcome was having both bands 🤘🤘
This album as a whole is not only underrated but also not well known by the public because the band itself refuses to acknowledge this album as its own even though it is. Phil did say he was for re-releasing it but rex called it a bad business move. What business move dude? Shit your band is inactive and have been for quite a while now, this album is 30 years old it's not like glam was still something to be ashamed of especially considering that this album is anything but glam.
This album sounds like it has a huge Megadeth-Killing Is My Business influence combined with their more radio friendly sound, makes it sound like Judas Priest at times
Projects in the jungle to this album are great. Don’t know why they are so hated. This is probably my 2nd least favourite pantera album and it’s great.
Just release this with a cover Of The band in a Different place than whats on cowboys. Sort of the same cover thats on cowboys but somewhere else beside the same bar they were in. And whatever they do dont release this cover again. this whole album needs to be re-released the right way. Mabeye Pantera chilling somewhere else.
The Dimebag......has...been released......................run
I wonder if Dime and Jeff Waters ever crossed paths back in the days...

Extremely underrated album. It's just when they started to find that typical Pantera sound. Awesome!
You can hear The Art of Shredding in here man!!
I cam

Definitely, if dime joined we wouldn't have cowboys from hell, but damn imagine what rust in peace would have sounded like.
One of their most thrashy songs. Strong structure and various time signatures I love it.
Pantera's 4th record and first to feature Phillip H Anselmo . 1988 instant classic . As tight as it gets. Dime's solo here is phenomenal .

I agree they should release this now!!! Power metal!!! 🤘🤘🤘
Well its not Glam because its all in the albums title. The albums before this 1 were Glam.
@@dannie2712 Ironically, it's mostly a thrash album, though.
@@dannie2712 only on 3 Songs
@@aarontrainor9918 it does deserve at least a limited vinyl release
The most thrashy sounding track in the album if you ask me.
This album already has the early stages of the new Pantera sound...
I've noticed that a few riffs from here are to be found on a song that was released two years later;
Tornado of Souls, by Megadeth.
This album sounds like it has a huge Megadeth-Killing Is My Business influence combined with their more radio friendly sound, makes it sound like Judas Priest at times
@@lightray9573 Lots of James Hetfield in the riffing too!
@@kartikchandrasekhar2762 that's very true
@@kartikchandrasekhar2762 too bad Metallica just stole their style from Diamond Head.
I'm so glad i found this little treasure of a song
better than so much shit that waved out after them
Wow does this song ever kick off strong with that drum. Awesome!
Yeah and Phil could go HIGH back then.
Danimal300zx he could go high in cowboys from hell album too
That wasn't Phil. This was before he came. Terry glaze was the singer here.
@@claytonfitzgeraldmusic8747 that's Phil. Check metallum.
@@claytonfitzgeraldmusic8747
Its Phil. Phil is on the album cover.
@@claytonfitzgeraldmusic8747 This was their first album with Phil.
THIS SOLO THOUGH WOW
Daddy dime just doesn't stop in that solo!
Okay so this solo is criminally underrated! How have i not heard this?!!😊❤
Galloping metal.........grrrrrr
Badass album.
What a master piece!
PANTERA RULES!
Dat solo
Great quality! Thanks for this one. Coulda found a bigger and clearer picture, though.
Música do caralho, todas do Power metal 🤘
Projects in the jungle to this album are great. Don’t know why they are so hated.
This is probably my 2nd least favourite pantera album and it’s great.
The Conjuring-Megadeth 1:46
There is a slight resemblance but not an over rip-off.
cabalofdemons OK OK
Its just a scale relative
Can hear the trash elements that we’d later find on “The Art of Shredding” “The Sleep” “Psycho Holiday” here
Crunch and balls....💪
Goes hard
Glam metal my ass. This is Thrash. 😡💪🖖
Still a trace of Glam on 3 tracks
@@aarontrainor9918 I'd say some tracks are very 80s, mainstream metal, but some tracks are full blown thrash.
Listen to I am the night title track. Heaviest stuff Glaze ever dared to sing
@@jimmyneut2702 I have heard it. ... 🤘

Leandro Ferreira Phill Anselmo
