Christine, I love that your video is so much more vivid.. we can appreciate the detail especially with the close ups... I love your card and it just makes me want to run and do one in which I am!!! Thank you for the tutorial on making bows..I have always struggled with this and even though watched tutorials I find yours easier to follow.... you are always so clear in your instructions and I really appreciate that... hey!! I love your new blog!!!
These are fabulous cards, Christina, I'm especially loving the crinkled ribbon and also doing the pearl dots around the aperture, such a beautiful effect. Lots of love from Patricia xx
WHAT did we do to deserve you??? You are super sensational. OMG, and that bow is incredible. I hope you realise that I am not going to sleep a wink tonight. I just HAVE to get up now (I'm in bed with my laptop and just got this new video link). What a truly fab card. Your instructions are always so clear and precise. You really do rock. Thankyou ,thankyou, thankyou x
I can't wait to get some spellbinders. They look really easy to use! I have a big Kick that I just got in December and I will hopefully be able to buy some dies in the future.
Very pretty cards Christina. I haven't been paper crafting long but like doing cards. Do not have many dies yet but will watch for them. I actually ordered some today from Blitsy, the leaf one was there. tfs, Sandra
Another lovely card, the camera work is 1st class,Christina have you ever been a teacher? your demos are so clear and easy to follow. Many Blessings to you both.
@TheFluffy924 The ribbon in the video is Organza and the danger is that it will burn if you try to melt it to enthusiastically. Just gentle dabs will give you the results you want and it looks very vintage once it is done. I don't think it would work with other ribbon but try it and see what you come up with ... then let me know how it looks
@cardmakingpom I have told him and he is suitably chastised.... until the next video when he does it again!! I am so glad that you are enjoying the videos ... I have another one ready to go soon.
The Impressablities folders are A4 size and so will not go through the smaller die cutting machines .... but you can use any embossing folder that you have in your own stash ... all you are doing really is adding some texture to the background card ... just makes it a little more interesting.
Sorry Christina, I didn't put that across very well did I?. Ok let me try that again. I see you used a impressability to make an impression onto the card. Is it the same as a cuttlebug folder? Or do they make them in A5? Hope that makes a bit more sense? If not let me know . I must say I was very very impressed with your cards made with the dies etc so impressed I'm going to follow your theme/idea and treat myself to some of the dies, not all at once mind you. Thanks again
what a beautiful card. Just need to ask you a question. I see you are using spellbinder dies but the embossing folder is a little on the large size for my cuttlebug do you have Ny other suggestions please?
It is an Impressablities that I am using in this video not an embossing folder and it is large. But if you use an embossing folder instead to get the texture on your card then it should go through the Cuttlebug
Hi, I am new to card making as I am sure you will guess. Can you tell me what material you use for your flowers and foliage in this video . . is it paper or card? and what weight is best to use please?
what do you glue your flowers down with, I find mine are pinging open after a couple of days. If you mentioned this in your vid, I'm very hard of hearing so sound isn't there.
p.s Tell Griff he pulls your hair again, he'll have me to deal with. Us ladies will all gang up on him....... just joking, Griff, your doing a great job x

You can't use cuttlebug machine. She probably has a spellbinder grand calibur machine
