In War Thunder's recent Drone Age update, a lot of tanks received some serious bug fixes. The American TCM AGS probably received the biggest upgrade, as it shed three tons of weight and received an extra 100hp to its engine. You might not think these would have a huge impact since the AGS was already pretty fast, but they do. The AGS can now keep pace with wheeled vehicles like the Rooikat. The TCM AGS is now one of the strongest light tanks in the US tank tech tree, if not the strongest. It also looks like the Scorpion tank from Halo, hence the title.

we need a tank only game mode. i couldnt care less i have alot of CAS, im sick and tired of the revenge bombing and the braindead gameplay.
How bout putting an end to Russian Bias code, and removing all of said code. We also need BR decompression and better BR placements for many vehicles.

T-64A, it’s the weakest of the Autoloading Soviet MBTs but it’s totally worth playing at 9.0, it’s one of my favorite vehicles
It still has the best turret armor due to a bug from months ago they haven't fixed

Deep down, I hope Spookston brings back the "Everything Wrong with (Franchise)'s Vehicle Designs" series. There are plenty of absurd fictional vehicles that I'd love to see be torn into from a logical standpoint.

dont , grinding for 1 event in WT made me quit the game completely , last updates also just keep reinforcing me "that ill never come back" every update seams to make most game worse rather then better.
I didn't want to grind it so I bought the achievements for each week. Best $40 I've spent

there is a reason why some US tanks/weaponry not like in IRL
For example the HSTVL has burst fire mode
M829A2 has anti ERA tip, DM53 as well
AH64D has access to AGM114L ( gaijin denied it because to OP what is true even with singele target tracking ) or we not going to see Javelin missile for obvious reason

@@csorbalaszlo1920 this is not just the case for the m1a2, even the type 10 autoloader has been timed at 2.5 seconds.
What people need to realize is that Gaijin and many others have explained that this is not a sustained rate of fire and just because one example can be taken doesn't mean it applies everywhere.
Gaijin takes the average loading time or slightly alters it for balancing purposes, I believe spookston has explained this himself when it comes to the HSTVL fire rate (correct me if I'm wrong). 😊

I've seen a lot of people complaining about how hard it is to get the high tier event vehicles, my question to Gaijin is: Why add some cool event vehicles if 10 people at most are gonna be able to grind them out?
So its expensive on the marketplace and people spend more money on gaijin coin

I got it my favorite event vehicle I have gotten.
2-5 hours a day (depending on skill and MM) over 11 days
WT players are used to it, as sad as it is

Yeah, there is a bug for some missile launchers that allow you to get more gun depression using scroll wheel to change gun elevation. You can scroll down pretty far and now you can pretty much hit people while they cant see you. Like for the Swingfire.

@@Kill4Time255 yeah but the angle at which he was able to do it at is impossible at a normal depression that thing wouldnt even trigger that high.
and plus spook couldnt even see the dude, he would have to peek that hill in order to hit that.
Not actually a bug, it is a stated change in one of the changelogs from at least a year or two ago. People only just now realized how strong it is lol.
It doesn't give you depression it just gives you the ability to guide the missile downwards more. The missile is still launched in the direction that the launcher is in. For example in the rakjpz(HOT) I screwed myself multiple times by using gun elevation, and the missile just went above them because it didn't have enough time to turn.
I love this tank it’s by far the best event light tank the us has I even use it up to 11.3 as the hull down it can do is amazing

2:27 I got to see an irl example of that RDF-LT you love, today. I believe it was in running condition.
In person, it seems unassuming due to its shortness and was dwarfed by the EFV next to it. Then you realize that the RDF-LT's gun is fully automatic and 76mm, the same caliber as the cannon on many modern destroyers. AAI figured out how to put a fully automatic naval gun on a vehicle that is as nearly tall as a Prius.
Well, World of Warships has some destroyers with pretty fast fire rates. Maybe it is the same gun.

This really would work as the Scorpion for the UNSC. Switch the gun for some sort of mini mac gun/gauss rifle, maybe some atgms or aa missiles on side mounted pods on the gun to give it that scorpion turret look and give later models an energy shield or something and there you go, could even maybe have handholds on the side, since marines love to crawl all over vehicles in Halo lol

I absolutely love this tank, partly because it looks exactly like what I had drawn up in high school before I even got deep into tanks.
I was very surprised to see this thing get a buff, it was already my favorite 9.7 vehicle besides maybe the tow wiesel
One vehicle I hope he gets to is the VFW. It is actually quite fun before you get strafed.
You should play the T92 light tank at some point just because of it's weird characteristics. 6.2s reload with no autoloader, fairly survivable layout, slow acceleration but with a good top speed, good APDS and HEAT-FS but sucky APCR.
I just recently got it and once I got past the sucky APCR been having some fun with it.

And I was considering selling mine. Thanks for convincing me othervise Spookston :) And I have a suggestion: "What if the War Thunder SPz. Puma was historically accurate". With the sheer ammount of Bug Reports, the SPz. Puma is probably in the Top 5 of War Thunders most bugged vehicles.

I wonder what’s your opinion on such tank is, given how it’s such a unique but weird tank, seems so innovative but also obsolete at the same (like the use of heat not heatfs, non stabilizer and the fact it didn’t have any composite armor almost 10 years after the T-64 entered service

hey bro. you can actually lock onto targets with droness like you do with helicopters. you just have to set key binds. makes it even easier

Man I ate fighting AGS kids who always hull down, the remotely operated turret is so annoying because the only thing you can do is hit the breach or cannon which are tiny targets and you cant kill any crew or ammo rack them.
It's called using the tank as it should be used lmao.
HE bruh, if your gun is 100mm or larger just lob HE at it and it implodes. I know because that's how I deal with them, and how I die when I play it. It's a good tank when hull down but it's a glass cannon.
@@PilotTed I tried that before but 2 things you need to take into account is 1. you gotta manually reload it and you may not have the time to do it, and 2. its somewhat inconsistent, while you may guarantee damage, its not guaranteeing a kill

Play the T-26E. An up-armored variant of the soviet T-26 that got discontinued as a starter bundle and moved to the market. It is insane how tanky the T-26E is, like a Maus but at low tier.

What are people thoughts on the CCVL getting a proper APFSDS round (M833) vs export (C76A1), but no changes for the AGS or XM8 to get even M774?
From what Wikipedia says the AGS/Teledyne Light Tank was rejected because the autoloader was extremely unreliable and was later fixed for the Stryker MGS
Practically speaking, the rear mounted turret set up with the main crew vision so far below the gun is also bad news in the field.
Play the A.C.I/Sentinel/The Male from last year’s Operation WINTER. It got buffed alongside the AGS, and is a super fun tank to play now.

Question about autoloaders. Does the crew Weapon reloading speed affect the replenishment of the ammo racks for autoloaders. Asking as a French main. would like to see a CA Lorraine video(i hate it).

I still wonder why the T-80B gets a slower reload than the BVM and U/UK, despite the autoloader being the exact same in all four and the BVM literally being the exact same tank other than Relikt and the FCS.

Eleventh video asking for the Spj fm/43-44, it has a 15 sec reload, and fires 8kg TNT equivalent HE shells, while at br 1.7.
you should do the cv90105 XC8, it got some serius buffs. Now it has a 5 secreload, 52 degre of elvetion, more horsepowers and a autoloader

I wish they would bring back the collision model on crashing your plane into an enemy ground vehicle, because if I die in my CAS and my wreck lands on top of a vehicle it should kill or badly damage that enemy vehicle.

Spookston, can you look into how the drones are not balanced ?
The chinese drone is a lot worse compared to the MQ and Orion, which is realistic but I do not think with a "killstreak" there should be such imbalance.
They hit a lot less, they have 2KM less range (which makes a big difference since you often spawn 1-2KM outside of the range for the Wing Long, forcing you to fly closer to enemy SPAA) and less pen (thought tandem so not that big of a deal)
what do you think of current crafting event spooks?
Try out the Amx 50 it got buffed too and now is almost as good as the lorrain 40t at 0.4 br lower.

Honestly, I feel like the reason the Army picked the M8 way back when is because they looked at the size of that turret and went "yeah you can probably stuff a 120mm in there". Either that or wanting to phase out the L7/M68 gun and not wanting to be too conspicuous.
Or it just boils down to the same reason the F-22 and F-35 were chosen over their competitors: It just looks more conventional and therefore definitely won't have budget overruns!
