But Jem didn't feel they same way about Riot that she felt for Rio. I could see Riot and Pizzazz maybe but not Riot and Jem. But Riot didn't feel the same way about Pizzazz either. Both Pizzazz and Riot deserves better. Even Stormer I wish that the writers would have given Stormer another new love interests for other than that man that she met when the Holograms and the Misfits were stranded together on an island. Why couldn't she meet a guy like Rio or some other nice looking man.
@@bhd7721Jem was attracted to Riot but she still had feelings for Rio. Towards the end of the series she was starting to warm up to Riot but they canceled the show before we could see where it went☹️
I would love to see people now make music like this. Now, all my generation has is trash and rap. With lyrics that mostly talk about some girls ass. Keep in mind not all songs nowaday are like that, but music now is really different. If the Stingers were real, they would be my favorite band.
Gordon Grody who voiced Riot's singing voice and Vicki Sue Robinson who voiced Minx and Rapture's singing voices were real recording artists in the past.
Vicki Sue Robinson did the damn thing singing her butt off as both Minx and Rapture! I was a fan of hers since I was little listening to her disco abum in the 70s. When I learned as a teen ,in the 80s, she did the singing for them both, I loved her even more.
Songs like this, "Gettin' Down to Business", and "I'm Okay" make me think they should revamp the show. I mean they've brought back just about every other 80's cartoon show...
+Ursine ComicGeek I'd LOVE it as long as they didn't 1. Ruin the art style/CGI it. 2. Kept it 80s and truly outrageous...modern music makes me cry, especially since Jem is pop. 3. Hopefully could get the same voices ;-;. The latter is both the most important and least likely...
See, what I like about The Stingers is that their songs are more like actual songs, rather than the repetitive, half-assed lyrics of some of The Holograms' or The Misfits'.
Sailor Moon and Jem are literally not similar in the slightest besides both being magical girls. And the genre itself has existed since the 60s anyway.
I remember I hated The Stingers when I was little, but now I listen to them again and they rock! Riot has an amazing soft voice and they have a great sound :)
I removed my other comment about a different song since I found it using the search feature (duh, guess I should have thought of that before posting the comment!) I just wanted to thank you for cleaning these up and putting them up for me to listen to again and again. I honestly didn't like the Stingers when I watched the show back in the 80s when I was a kid (the Jem/Holograms songs were my favorites) but now I find them to be superior as they have much more depth. I would definitely buy a Stingers album!
your welcome OH yeah you are the most amazing band ever i love to listen to all your songs this was one of my favorites The best band ever. You are one hunky guy Riot. Wish the would do a whole series all about you and your band mates oh i'd so watch it. with all great new songs you ROCK! by the way you are the PERFECT man.
Yes you are and i am proud to say you are PERFECT in every way. Thank you for applauding my good taste. Only real man i see is you. I just love when you speak. and a man that knows what he wants and goes after it. i thank you for the complement. I must say its great getting to talk to you.
TheMitigating I believe that Riot would accept that Jem/Jerrica were one and the same without any reservation or judgement. Can you say the same for Rio? I do not think so!!
you shouldn't feel guilty over that Riot is way more of a man talk about a perfect man. and yeah he's got very nice six pack i love his NOT wearing shirt when he's on the beach *grins*
Yeah, you can hear the 80s beat in all songs but Jem's music, I think it was targeted for young teens and children so that's why it kinda sound like it's from the TVs or more specifically in a kid show
I Love the Stingers they have such a great sound to them and all sing very well. I' love this song i wish it was longer but its still great. can't seem to wrap my head around why Minks likes that douch Rio he sucks he's always moody. He's just jealous because he won't ever be the real man that Riot is. what a sexy hunk heehee
Mavis BeiFong Rio is really insensitive to Jem/Jerrica. He takes them both for granted and he claims that he believes in complete honesty but if one was to be completely honest with him, he would go completely ballistic.
I know its why i dont like Rio. this is why Riot is awesome he knows what he wants and goes for it. he would make a good match for Jem he at least is honest in his love for her.
Riot? or Rio? I doubt it Rio would understand he doesn't ever seem to be happy with just one woman. I still can't see why Pizzazz likes Rio so much. i figured she would like a better guy then Rio. Besides Riot is more man. I'd love to listen to him sing.
I am sorry that I did not make myself more clearly; Riot would understand the necessity of Jem/Jerrica keeping her dual identity a secret. Of course Riot is more of a man than Rio because he happens to be a little bit more mature than he is.
Like, Jem's songs are good, the Misfits songs are better, but GOD the Stingers are on a WHOLE other level. Like I might bop to a Jem song on youtube every once and a while but the Stingers songs I would actually put on my ipod.

(It seems with the exception of Stormer, most of their development and vulnerabilities weren't shown until well into the second season when Roxy and Stormer got their solo episodes and Pizazz got some attention in "Father's Day.")

You can't blame Riot for falling for Jem, they have practically the same hairstyle. It's DESTINY!!

the wordsmith the problem is that when you do a movie set in the past, it gets written off as a biopic and ignored by the wider demographic.

They sang the best out of all the groups on the show.
Having a male singer balanced things out quite well.

Some would argue that Riot was more true to Jem than Rio.
TheMitigating I believe that Riot would accept that Jem/Jerrica were one and the same without any reservation or
