thank you for this video. I was so confused about the IV. So if the IV of 1L starts at 08.00 and will finish at 16.00, that is 125ml/hour, you're saying both are correct if we plot the 125ml at 08.00 to 15.00 and 09.00 to 16.00, right?
Hi, in OSCE, you are not likely to have such a scenario in OSCE. You will have valuies that are whole numbers. However, in clinical practice, you can approximate 166.6 to the nearest whole 167 . and the last hour will be 168 to complete 500.
Thanks for making it so detailed, glad I came across ur channel
Thanks so much ma, this is wonderful!🤩😘♥️

Thanks for the video,if the patient has 200mls by 10:30, should we record against 10 or 11?
Hi, it should be at 10:00hr

Hi, Yes, either way is acceptable.
Absolutely, but you must be consistent with any method you choose.
Great explanation. If normal saline is given from 10 am until 13 pm how do I write that? 500 divide by 3 = 166.6 do I write it? 166 ml or 165? Thank.

Thanks Ma but where do we indicate positive or negative balance
Hi, in front of the total balance, write if positive or negative with the total balance.
Hlo dear do we need to add mls in the chart is it in the marking criteria
It’s not stated in the marking criteria currently, so it is not a red flag.
Thank you dear
Thank you
