    Science says kids that grow up around cats have less allergies! Both me and my nephew grew up with cats then at age 27 when neither of us had cats we both developed severe allergies towards them! However today we both live with cats !

    My grandmother believed this, and when my husband was adopted, his adoptive mother drowned their two cats because she was afraid they would kill him as a newborn.

      @@PrettyPurrfectCatFacts Yes. She also told me to never put fresh flowers in baby's room as they would suck all the oxygen out of the air. I guess they were trying to figure out possible reasons behind cot deaths.
