Waiting for her to pop up on Barbie Signature or Amazon in U.S. She is one of my favorite looking Barbies ever. Very late 80s early 90s vibes which totally jive with me. Love the curvey body, the big hair, the makeup. All of it.
I didn't expect her outfit to have that surprise either - I agree it's a little disappointing. She's gorgeous, though! I am so curious about the missing doll. Great review!
Hi Maxine, thank you so much for watching ❤️❤️❤️ The quality of the outfit is pretty good though I must add. Just that, it's one piece. Unless I can find a larger pants or skirt to dress her on top of the shorts. Lolllll...
It would be an awesome doll if she would be on a normal or tall made to move body ...... I'm not a fan of the curvy shape . The clothes and shoes looks also not so good ........... I think your restyle is 100 times better . ^^
I really like the jeans outfit you put her in! I'm going to try to copy the look once these dolls finally arrive in our area. Also, an astute observation about the face sculpt be the same.... But it is one of my favorites so I will also be getting this new one.
I really do hope there will be more fashion packs for our curvy dolls. Our curvy dolls usually come in shorts. So, that's the only jeans I have for her. Lolll.....
Thank you. Honestly, it has been real fun, anticipating to unbox these dolls. It's what keeps me going, having fun time admist all the stressful adulting stuff
Curvy can wear some 1/6 female action figure clothes that's stretchy, if it looks tight it will fit standard barbie body. Curvy can also wear some male action figure clothes as well. Her feet fit some knock off poppy parker fashion royalty footwear but not tall boots (calves)
Yes, I think they are the same face mold. She’s very pretty and love that her hair is so long, but I’m not a big fan of this outfit either. Too plain and I wish they were separates instead. Quick question - are her knees a different color/shade than the rest of her joints? Maybe it’s just me, but they look a little bit darker than the rest of her legs. Thank you for making and sharing this video. Looking forward to seeing the next Barbie Looks unboxing! 😊
Almost all of my MTM bodies have different "shade/color" joints. This is a common issue when dolls are assembled with different plastic parts. They are rarely exact matches.
Yes they're a little bit of a different tones. I notined that when I edited the video. I checked doll #13's knees, they're same tone with the entire body.
Thanks for the review. She is beautiful and I too, am disappointed that it is a one-piece outfit. I might just cut off the top or take out the stiches so they can be worn separately.
I'm gonna inspect closely how to separate the top from the bottom. I'll take ages, my eyes aren't in the best vision anymore but let's see. And I notice that curvy Barbies tend to be in shorts.
Great review. I have the platinum blonde with the same face sculpt. I like her makeup a bit better. The outfit is disappointing, I think I would try undoing the seam and use the seam allowance to hem the two halves. Then you would have your separates. I like the casual outfit, but she really does look like Marilyn Monroe! Have a great day!
Hi Jan, thank you so much for dropping by. The more I look at her, the more I love her looks. And I'm hoping that there will be more curvy fashion packs available. At the moment, I'm looking at how to separate the outfit but I'm scared that I might ruin it. Cos I'm not the best in sewing. Lollll
@@ArtieArdee Hi Artie, It's wonderful how much you like your new gal. I totally understand. I looked at Elite Doll World as I got some clothes there, but nothing specifically for curvy Barbie. Sorry about that. I know there is at least one place, because I saw them in a My Froggy Stuff video where she bought the curvy size by accident, but don't think I could find it now. Actually, it was watching one of her videos where I found out Elite is doing 1/6 clothes now. I buy their things for my Smart Dolls. As for separating the garment, it is in the back so it won't be seen as much. Try wrapping the seam around your finger and see how easy to see the stitches are. If you can see the individual stitches clearly then you can just use a seam ripper to pick them out. My two Looks dolls came in separates so I had no problem. Well, other than that they have the same hair style and I would have liked something different. Have a great day!
Yes it's the same year. So most likely it's the same sculpt. Although I must say, u gotta look real close to be very certain and sometimes I still can't be too certain. Lolllll...
The clothes from this line are a major disappointment. The reused face sculpts are tired. I like the new ones we are getting but Mattel needs more consistency with the Looks dolls. Had they kept to the black white silver fashions, used different head sculpts, separate pieces rather than sewed together. Also this dolls knees being darker than her legs is a big red flag. Come on quality control. Won’t be picking these up as many in the states have complaints about this release.
Yeah I noticed that too while editing the video. I thought it was my lighting. But when I physically checked it, it's a little bit different tones. Fortunately doll #13 has same tone knees as the entire body.
@@ArtieArdee get a seam ripper that's about 2-3 inches long those have the smallest ripper. You may need magnify glasses. Once you remove seams the fabric that was already folded in and holes from thread removed gives you a map to sew.
You made very good reviews 👌 Great that you're saying everything about them and compare dolls. I would like to see even more of this compares, like next to other mtm dolls (skin tomes ect.), showing their bodies (without clothers), comparing their hight without shoes, showing them with different style (clothers/hair... if you like to do it with dolls of course). 😉 I mean I really like to know those things before I buy a doll. But congrats for great videos 💙
Thank you so so much for dropping by. Yes, like you, I do watch reviews, sometimes on repeat before I buy a doll. Especially because I need to get them shipped into Malaysia, which costs a lot. she reminds me a little bit of the curvy daisy fashionista doll if you know which doll i’m tryna mean 💝 she looks like if daisy was a supermodel in a different universe. very pretty but she’s probably my least favorite

Hello Artie, they should be different moulds, Andrea has a narrower head and smaller lips. They haven't released there names unless you know it yet? I can not wait to get mine. Love the two looks. Looking forward to your other man that you will be unboxing next 🥳🥰

I was annoyed by the fact that the red head's outfit was all one piece in your previous video because I presumed that that was going to be a skirt and a top - especially due to the different fabrics used. The fact that this girl's outfit is again a one piece is really annoying too so I completely understand why you would be disappointed. It does limit what you can do with the outfits - with separate pieces, as you said, you could mix and match them with different pieces - but now because of them being sewn together into one piece you can't do this. This is such a shame. She looked great after you had made her over though and I agree there is something quite Marilyn Monroe about her face. I think she is meant to be the same face mould as the other girl, it's interesting how different they have made them look though just by the use of make up. Looking forward to seeing who you open up next.
Yeah, cos in the previous wave, the outfit comes in separate pieces unless it's a dress. But this time, I was caught off guard, I never thought that such design especially with the top hem in such a way can be in one piece. Thankfully, she's got great hair and make up. And I don't mind the shoes at all. At least she won't be wobbly without the stand with the wedges
She has a gorgeous face and I like the long blond hair and fair skin but the darker knee joints and plain outfit are disappointing . I wish Mattel would go back to the quality of the Fashion Avenue fashion packs .
I saw a posting in IG of this girl with rather obvious darker knees as compared to her entire body's skin tone. Don't know how that happened but it is what it is.

I somehow like her the most in this line. She's the first one I noticed in the store the very first time when I saw all of them in store
