This is probably the worst way to see Tangier - a day trip from Tarifa, led in a group into tourist-trap shops where you will be conned into paying 5 times the going rate for anything you buy and without any time to really discover the town. If you want to get a real feel for Tangier, head for Tarifa and buy a ticket at the port. Once on the boat, go straight down to the lower deck to get your passport stamped and once arrived at Tangier, head to the Medina where you can find countless cheap hotels / hostels to say for a couple of days. Then have fun exploring the town by yourself at your own pace.
Did a day trip like this just with my family, had the most amazing day. Told our guide what we wanted to do, didn’t buy anything. Been back twice since then.
Thanks for the insight John. We have considered a trip to Morocco for quite some time. Your comment is a real help to those of us seeking a more authentic experience. ..... Ivan in Canada.

Handmade goods have a high amount of value. You can't say the price of the carpet is crazy, because it took a long time to make. It is insulting when tourists question the price that these people give. They are poor people who work hard to earn a living, yet European tourists have the audacity to be rude and call the price crazy.

So many wonderful, beautiful, colourful & high quality items made within Morocco. It's a true shame, that many (tourists) cannot buy whatever they'd truly love, to take back home. Why? Because customs often don't allow specific or larger items.
Don’t worry, be happy 😃 there are many beautiful art pieces! I am sure there are always have someone would interest in getting something to remember 🍁🐿
This isn't travel. It's a rounded up sheep video. I love to travel and explore. Sometimes even get lost for a while. This would definitely not be for me. I would be running in the opposite direction to find somewhere to dine that wasn't commercially orientated.

That is not expensive Sir. It's actually very reasonably priced. If you were to buy a hand made/woven Turkish, Iranian, Afghani or Hunza Valley (Northern Pakistani) rug, you'd be paying three to ten times as much & in many cases, even more.
@@fababy9324 I know & i agree. This price is very cheap indeed. In other countries that make hand woven rugs, it costs much more, especially, when specifically hand woven and not machine made. Take care.
