Every kid is different for toilet learning. Just over 2 is quite early so parents reading this don’t feel bad if you have a 3 or 4 year old and they don’t use the toilet yet. Some kids are only ready when they are older. And if potty training means you have to remember to put them on the toilet every 30mins….who is the one being trained? LOL no need to rush it if your little one isn’t ready yet.
Would love a full video on potty training and what worked or didn’t work for you and Rocky! We are getting ready to potty train our 2 year old and all the advice would be so helpful 😅
Hello Kilean. Good Job on potty training. I had to bribe mine with sticker's and it worked like a charm. Rocky Boy is doing so well. I'm proud of you Momma. The clip if Rocky and Ekko on the couch. Oh My Heart. How precious. He's so loving and gentle with his baby sister..I hope that Y'all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Much Love From Indiana.
I would love the motivation to work out! I used to be so active before kids, working out 4-5x a week. Now it's hard to balance work, kids, being a wife and finding time for myself. I have 10 more pounds to lose and I'm 7 months postpartum. Send all the motivation!
Im living in Germany and love that you guys have a tonie box! Its a german brand :) The box is called a tonie box not tonies box haha, sorry to be such an annoying commenter, the tonies are the little figures you place on top, but a singular one is also just called a tonie. Also epic potty training! Cant wait to start potty training my lil dude
I felt the same way about potty training! I expected it to be more physically draining but it was more mentally draining! Sounds like you're making it super fun though... I'm sure he's doing great! ;)
I just potty trained my 2 years old and one month around 3weeks ago it took him 2days and he was doing awesome surprisingly the best thing I have done after a week he is been waking nap and bedtime dry..it was like constant reminder for 2 days but the first day was a bit crazy he got several accidents the first day but its okay I just keep telling him “this is what happened if you don’t go to the toilet” and surprisingly he got it and the second day he’s start telling me he wants to go and also I have candies hanging on our restrooms door letting him know that he will get a prize if he uses the restroom just to make it fun for him and I’m telling u it works and also a nightmare cus he just wanna eat all the candies 😂. now we only put him on diaper if we go out and bedtime just incase but he just doesn’t wanna pee on it..he poops and pee in the toilet now just needed help to take off his pants/underwear.. what I realized I was stressing myself out the first day by constant taking him to the toilet and giving him all the fluids cus that’s what internet says lol I give up cus he fights not to go so I let him getting accidents and he learns from it.. and also I made up a pee pee song that made him so excited 😂😂 man all the work I’ve done the first 2days is worth it.. and yes bribery is the key don’t stress them out too they will start fighting to go. Goodluck kilean!! I know Rocky will be potty trained already after this video..
Just curious, where do you store your linen if you have the toys in there. We have a closet off the playroom too and that’s a great place to store toys! But also….where do I keep our towels, sheets and cloths! Haha
Hi! I wanted to quickly (although unsolicited:) add my two cents on the incentives you used to encourage potty training. It’s actually not a bribe that you are using, but a reward. It’s a subtle difference but important to me because of the connotation of the word bribe. Bribes are a tool of manipulation that is given before you do something (e.g. I’ll pay you $1000000 to do xyz). It’s got a bad wrap because it does not encourage the desired outcome. A piece of candy before dinner is not going to help kids finish their vege, for example. A reward is an evidence-based tool that is given after completing a behavior to encourage it happening again. We use it all the time in psychology and it works like a charm. As adults we get a paycheck for our work (wouldn’t show up to work if that incentive wasn’t there😅), stickers for going on the potty, someone laughing at a joke we make, etc. all positive rewards that would likely encourage showing up for work, peeing, and making funny jokes next time. When we label rewards as bribes we make people think they are doing something bad and make them want to use rewards less. You should feel great about using them because they work when used consistently and predictably. Go Rocky for rocking the potty training stage! 🎉 I still have to get myself to start this with my two year old. I’ve been putting it off because we have a five month old now. Any words of advice on how to manage the naked phase of potty training while watching a baby?
🎶if you have to go potty STOP and go right away - flush and wash and be on your way!🎶 Tell me you’re a toddler mom without telling me you’re a toddler mom lol. 🐯
The beginning chat was so relatable & I’m happy you’re in a better spot with food now! Your family is soo lucky to have you✨

Our towels are under a cabinet in our bathroom and then our extra sheets/blankets are on the top shelf in our closet 🥰
Loved this vlog thank you Kilean! Xx
A nice new video, Kilean!❤❤
