I got POCO X5 Pro since the week. I had no hope for this phone after buying it and watching this video, but I'm very surprised. Yes, it is poor quality plastic build and you can feel it. I tried to bend it myself, after putting some force, but not full force, nothing happened. Im not worried anymore. This is not strong build, but I think, it is strong enough. Overall, Im very happy with my new POCO. This phone is only for games, my daily driver is S22 Ultra, but I can say, that using POCO is absolutely amazing. It is very thin and crazy light, battery life is superb and screen is looking awesome, gaming experience is just excellent (but Im not playing high graphic games, keep it on mind). No regrets and no problems so far.

Been using it for two months now. its an outstanding phone tbh. I was worried after watching the video but in daily use Im not putting tremendous stress on a 250 dollar phone lol. I just disliked the default screencover, it punctured very fast (🗝️) so I had to grab a new one.

I want to add that, as some people have pointed out, if the battery catches on fire you should have a half bucket of sand ready to toss the phone into, and another half bucket of sand to pour on top as to smother the fire. You can also use a class D fire extinguisher. Trying to put out a battery fire with water can result in serious injury as lithium can react violently when exposed to water.
My realme gt 2pro broke like a plastic in this test, and i want to buy it, not because the durability is low but i don't like the overall phone, been using it for 5 months
I don't see how video like this are important. You get a phone and destroy it on camera, then claim you're running durability test. POCO X5 pro is not a water resistant phone instead it is "splash" resistant. Scratching up the phone with a knife is crazy, no phone will survive that. BMW is made mostly of plastic but it doesn't make it less quality brand. Stop destroying brands and giving your followers the feeling that you're good at this.

After watching your video I brought poco x4 pro now I can see that is a hard one and toughest one in term of built quality but my phone is stolen in 13 days of buying. about battery safety: the lithium in the batteries is extremely reactive to water, and it seemed to me that you said if the phone catches on fire you'll put it in a water container, please don't do that as the situation will get much worse. it's almost impossible to contain such fire in home, so the best option you have is to take the battery outside and wait. try not to inhale the fumes

If in case you put your phone in back pocket, put in a chair/sofa or on bed and accidentally a well built/heavy person sit on it then phone may get damaged. I got to know only when i sat on my iqoo 3 accidentally with force (while we fall on chair when tired) and surprised to see its built like a Tank. I thought it would break. In any case if theres a normal phone it would be dead by now.

After watching your video I brought poco x4 pro now I can see that is a hard one and toughest one in term of built quality but my phone is stolen in 13 days of buying. Never felt bad like that when I first time brought a new phone with my own earned money 😓 thik se maine use vi nehi kar paya.... God will never do good with that thief.

If in case you put your phone in back pocket, put in a chair/sofa or on bed and accidentally a well built/heavy person sit on it then phone may get damaged.
I got to know only when i sat on my iqoo 3 accidentally with force (while we fall on chair when tired) and surprised to see its built like a Tank. I thought it would break.
In any case if theres a normal phone it would be dead by now.
