This new Arena is so bad. I can't afk at Champion rank anymore. Now i need to play Arena every week to climb up from Challenge I. Atleast i can still beat some meta defenses with this Taeyou comp.

it really is epic 7 now only 7 units are used in arena and pvp and if you dont have them you kinda just lose if you dont gear gap
What are the betters and the worses?
Pros: have more reward if you play hard, spend lots of effort.
Cons: waste time, each time you fight someone, you lose like 3 or more battle. Get just a little point for each win so you have to fight more to mantain the rank of yours. Plus this meta is too boring and ridiculus hard
There are no thing better for lazy people like me, now i have to do arena every day to be able to get arena gear from battle pass 🥲
nothing change now u just need to get 200 point to be champion each season start. then u will fight the npc to get ur skystone and complete the battle pass
I don't understand why anyone would think that this arena is worse. We literally get the same amount of Skystones, get the gear for free now and have the crests available to spend on other gear or charms. You don't even need to play arena daily to complete the battlepass and can still be lazy and sit in Champ since there isn't even a weekly rank reset anymore. Not to mention you can get most of it with NPC battles only. The Auto battle feature is useless and should rather be implemented for NPC battles though, that's true. Other than that I think it's a pure positive change where we just get more rewards and everything was streamlined, gameplay wise nothing changed
Maybe you didn't experiment any changes, but I was targeted until they pushed me back into Challenger 2

Idk if it's because of reset season in rank (so they push mostly this time)... still i'm exhausted enough to maintain in Champ v..

Crests are not a problem for me and before I could just buy the imprint slate day one, now I have to wait x days so that I can get rank 22 to get it, plus I don't like how it resets the player list after you defeat 1 player but that's minimal ngl, just a preference.
We also get 150 free skystones just for playing the arena 15 times per week.

The problem isn't the new arena is bad per say, the problem is the Arena meta is boring as hell. You either ego them, have very specific meta units, or just drown. Not to mention, you didn't have to have a great defense team in low champ, I'd rather use those resources to build other units for other game modes, but now you need a meta defense team just to idle every week.
They should have implemented Arena 3v3 like they said they were going to.

for me I find it useful... If I defeated a meta def w/ great percentage of win rate that means I can quick battle it safely.
Quick battle helped me secure fast climb when I needed points to secure first time clear for emperor for skystones rewards.
Quick battle sucks for soul base cleave like ran but for me w/ turn 2 ml ken team it saved a lot of time
It is for times where you get pushed far down. The opponents will not have the gear to handle your team even on auto.
Who the hell came up with this new arena and, most importantly, why bro? 😭
new arena is great for non-whales or endgame lazy rta only people. you finally get rewarded for actually playing the mode and much harder to just afk at your rank so people will finally spread out more among the different ranks so hopefully, will be more fair matches.
Once you get higher up in arena it's atrocious to play and anything but fun, being forced to play it daily now to get rewards you could've previously gotten is just cringe. AFKing is also still easy, you just can't if you want the gear. Besides, AFKing beyond champion was never a thing to begin with.
@@LucosDiCampos there is no need to maintain a high rank. You only need to end high. Also, imo, there is only champ and then legend. Emperor rewards are barely higher so not worth the extra effort for 100-200 more or whatever it is
I was playing the game for the arena not the other game mode, and i was not Lazy at it, but i dont feel rewarded when i NEED to farm through some obnoxious méta just to get demoted because my def team get constantly crushed
@@aquacharde that just means you aren't the rank you should be... Def team is half the mode. That should motivate you to improve to actually achieve AND maintain that rank! That's literally the whole pt of the game.
However, things will settle out a bit. This is first few days and season of change.
@@REIwAlexY Not sure what you mean by maintaining vs ending, isn't it essentially the same? Also I'm talking about the gear rewards, not the skystones. Afking for skystones is still fine and the 150 a week is incentive to play for some, but the gear being locked behind it is the issue.

How was it for other servers? our very own Asia server top 1-3 in arena are at 11-13k points already XD can't wait for Sunday rush hour
I have started using almost same team. Instead of Brieg I use Emilia. I just chill, I don't use Taeyou s3 and let them all go into sinful, attack with s1 into ml Senya/landy. After the enrage wears off and senya is dead I kill jenua.
When Luna comes out, all these meta comps will be useless.
It feels the same but quick battle helps in npc battle.

new arena feels way better to be honest. also most of the def teams you showed there you can easy cleave with ran and dont have to use weird units like brieg or taeyou, especially in low champ and you probably even can afk in mid champ after the first week.
the hard reset to challenger 1 should only be happening at seasons start as far as i am aware of

This is the worst meta in years. It all comes down to 3-4 characters and if they are not there, get ready to suffer. In these realities, making such an arena is a very controversial decision.

I was not Lazy, getting the stuff you have for "free" now was not à problem since i played often but now its just grindy as hell just to promote some shitty battle pass.
New arena is shit, idk why they decide to do that, now we have to keep grinding arena as well for gears, its pathetic really

Also Quick battle was good for me when I needed one win to get to Emperor V to I for first time clear Sky stones reward.
Without it I could win one match but got attacked by three people so I can't get the rewards easily.

As an light bunny Girl light laika light helena and dark iseria owner arena fells like doing draco Hunt on easy mode.
The only good thing on the new arena is the battle pass and 150 sky stones if completing only 5 times in 3 days.

If you don't play the arena, why would you expect to get its rewards? That's the question those who hate the new change should ask themselves
Because you could just afk in Champion V before and get weekly Skystones or Red bookmarks every week. Now even if you make it back to Champ V you're constantly being targetted for attacks from people much higher rank than you that just push you back down. Its fking annoying.

@@eustakio. I would remember you in this way you don't need anymore to buy with conquest point the equipment or mola or plate.
So doing arena offline you will have 100% "all" the new set incoming AND all the conquest point can be only used for buy energies and charms. And trust me this is absolutly great.
