2 minutes in and i love how you politely stand on liking pve only. This coming from someone good at pvp games but prefers helping players instead of killing them. Gonna finish out the rest of the video and most likely buy thanks to you and you only! ❤
Glad you enjoyed the video man. I'll check out PvP at some point, but I'm just having too much fun on PvE currently :) Hopefully I see you on the battle field soon!
I've been really enjoying the pve mode as well, I think if the game works for you its a good time. A lot of people are having issues with certain hardware, like my friend constantly crashes on a 2070, ive had zero isseus on a 4070 with decent framerate so your mileage may vary. i do kinda wish they'd let squadmates take items off my body on pve, would be a lot easier to let my friend take my stuff than run all the way back and then both go back to base lol, still really early though, tons of potential. mithras all the way, happy hunting
Yup! It seems hit or miss if the game works. If you're lucky enough that it works it's a great time. About taking loot of squads I could take it or leave it personally. Alot of the time I couldn't carry out his gear anyways without dropping all my loot.
Hey! Thanks for the video. I just have a question that I didnt understand that well. Are players of the other factions also unkillable? And if they are, when do you ever see action in this pve mode?
Yes they are. You can shoot them but it doesn't do any damage. There screen acts as if they have been shot so it will shake etc. The action is all PvE based. Once you get further in the game the AI becomes a serious threat.
So, just to clarify (because I really don't like playing online, I'm a gaming recluse), PVE is still with other human players, but only the AI can impact your game. Am I understanding you correctly?
Yes, there are other players on the map, but they can not hurt you and you can't hurt them. It can be a pain since some tasks are to kill a certain target and if other players kill it you don't get credit. Also I generally don't like playing with other players either, but its pretty fun meeting randoms on this game. I hope that helps.
Good, I hate pvp. I'm pretty old and after people started taking it so seriously as if their life depended on a fucking game, I stopped. Playing a fucking video game, trying to relax for christ sakes.
You do, but I feel like the way it's done should be changed. Instead of giving me the items they should unlock them from the vendor. Here me out, the items are relatively cheap. When you die the items go with you unless you find your body. If you don't find your body you lose all those items until you level up to a certain level or wipe your account. I was out on a mission yesterday and died in some thick vegetation. I went back to find my body and thanks to great camouflage couldn't find me anywhere. Eventually I was killed while searching. 🤷🏽♂️ So all of those nice goodies disappeared into cyber world. 😢
I have never played ghost recon wildlands. My friend enjoys those games and has made a comparison in the past about it though, but I have no idea. There is very little story, really just what the tasks tell you. PvE is very tactical IMO as the AI can snap to you pretty quick if you are in a bad position.
@@drms-tc8bx I am 50+ hours in and I only play PvE. Supporter is 100 dollars, so I'm at 2 dollars an hour for fun. I think you can easily get 35 hours of fun on PvE which would be a dollar an hour. It really depends on what value is worth it for you. Anything under a dollar is good for me.
the fact people gloss over the fact that pve games are rare and also tarkov/stalker/metro are all based off books and previous games and mods all based around authors and books about zones with radiation 🎉
Even if I like PvP, it will eventually become pointless as cheats come out and the game becomes popular like in every other FPS. I'd far rather stick to PvE and Dad-style gaming from now on.
Cheats are already out sadly. I don't think you should be deterred from playing PvP just because there are cheats. Every popular FPS game is going to have cheaters, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't have fun!
Yup, it uses the same pay to win tiers as Tarkov does (Without trying to charge you 250 dollars for a worse PvE version then the modded version). The parts that matter is the bigger storage and the bigger secure storage. The rest is pointless. I vendored most it.

I love that they did this. I can learn the dang game then go to pvp
Exactly it's super nice. I really hope they don't change it. Sometimes I want to progress and chill a bit, and not worry about other players.
@@Snoozealot Same i dont think they will. They have always said the game was meant to be more pve than pvp
@@_Brando_69 I hope so, I just see a lot of people complaining about them being shared.
@@Snoozealot hope the devs stick to there guns
Thanx. That helps many of us a lot.
Glad to hear that! If you need any other help just ask in the comments, or on the discord!

is he on intel by any chance ?
Thanks for the info!
You bet!
Little tip with chilling in base and the noise. Find some yellow ear muffs off the starting area pirates, they block out noise.
Yup, I've been doing this and taking them with me for heli rides now. Definitely gonna be using them for future videos!

I'm getting shot and killed in pve .... Hunted . Not just killed. Landing in missions near other factions and they wait at LZ and kill me

No problem
How long can you be out and about before returning?
As long as you want really. You just need to keep your food and water up.
When you reset your account do get all the gear from the edition you purchased?
Yup! You're supposed to at least.
@@Snoozealot thank you

Is the game similar to ghost recon wildlands? I want the game to have a little bit story and tactical but mostly pve

@Snoozealot thank you. So is it worth buying if you only play pve?

PvE only, no competing with no-lifers. Tarky takey not my $ anymo. Tarky farms the cheater life, not our $ anymo.
Tarkov is still fun, but I've been enjoying this more myself.

wait so other factions cant shoot you?
In pve mode they can not do any damage to you. They can shoot you and your screen shakes like you were hit but you don’t take damage.
If you crash either on both gameodes, you keep your look 99% of the time.
Good to know. That's been my experience in PvE. I did lose a kit a few days ago though sadly.
