- Anand Stall - Couldn't finish my day off unless I have a Dosa and this place looked like it was the place to be online and when I walked up on it, well that was confirmed. Now, I will admit, seeing all the young kids having to sell things was very hard to see and they definitely wanted my attention. I did what I felt was right, by offering to buy food, but they didn't really seem interested in that.
Then I meet some nice young couple also enjoy some late night eats. They had the Jini dosa which I know from previous times is really good!
The dosa itself was awesome and was a cheese overload. Luckily, I had someone help me eat it and the kids finally took the rest of the Dosa.
All and in all, a good experience and a lot of fun people there. Wish I knew what to do about the kids though. Glad I gave the food, but always wonder if I could have done more.

You offered them food, water, but they denied, so there is nothing to worry about Max, you can get upset by coming through them, but you have to avoid them if you feel uncomfortable. Btw, you are a very kind hearted person, I have been preparing for my 12th class final exams, I watch videos in my break time, and they are really refreshing. *One of the best Pani puris in town. Very clean & hygienic. They use bottled mineral water to make these. So very safe to eat Pani Puris at this place.*

*The best and the most buttery Paav Bhaaji on Planet Earth.*
3. Bade Miyan - Late night place - is open till 3 am or so (area - near Taj hotel & the Gate way of India in Mumbai)

11. Mohammed Ali road - (Area - CST - 6 pm onwards till late night)
*The whole street is filled with street vendors who sell various non-vegetarian stuff and some vegetarian too. Plus, there are some really nice restaurants on the same street. Try the famous dessert that you get only on this street in a sweet shop. The dessert is called Aflatoon.*

While in Mumbai you need to try chinese fusion dosas .. they are amazing !!! .. and don't miss the most amazing seafood in Mumbai .. restaurants like Mahesh Lunch Home, Gajalee and a lot more ... Streets mostly serve only veg but there's amazing food to be tried in restaurants ... Trust me man !!!

If you have a hard time staying happy from seeing kids begging, then you won't have a good time in India, especially in Metropolitan cities. I remember going to NYC and San Fransisco, to my surprise it wasn't too different; a lot more homeless people than other places in US, in a lot more terrible condition. There's only so much you could do. Glad you shared your food with them. That shouldn't ruin your experience. Do your bit and enjoy your life, it's too short to be sad. Cheers.

Hi Max! In India people are a little shaky if they have to eat from the same plate from where you have eaten. We do share food from the same plate but normally with family and friends. I love ur videos and you are extremely good at heart.

Sometimes the dough is not that fresh and tastes excessively sour. That counts as a bad dosa. Actually Mumbai is a humid place so having fermentation foods is kind of sour beyond a point. But if it's too sour, other than when they use tamarind in rice or in tomato rice then most likely not fresh. Sambhaar has asafoetida which prevents bloating and indigestion but if it has that very pungent kick it's either too much of it or the oil used for cooking maybe different. In South India they use coconut or sesame seed oil sometimes refined oil but very very rarely mustard oil. Mustard seeds those tiny black seeds in the sambhar add the pungency but if they use the mustard oil then it might taste drastically different as it's not the cooking medium used in South Indian food. These foods have low glycemic index sugar releasing factor so being fried and oily is not that heavy ...it's the cheese that kind of gets you beyond a point especially liquidy gooey cheese...hard cheeses are hard to find in India. When in doubt prefer Paneer masala Dosa it won't feel that heavy and creamy like those cheese spreads and molten cheese. The cook used hard cheese blocks while grating it. Many people who are lactose intolerant or don't eat that much protein find that heavy...pizzaa and sandwiches cheese slices taste less heavy even after toasting the bread..but since this is fried it's kind of a protein fat overload cos cheese in India is made from buffalo milk which is very very heavy and creamy. Not a diet person's delight in a sense.
The last part is just i was so sure that at last u will give some dosa to those kids nd u did this shows how u r as a person❤❤🫡🤌🤌 u r so kind,funny gentle well talked handsome just perfect❤❤😍😍

That's the problem with these gimmicky dosas. There's so much stuffing inside that it ends up making the dosa soggy instead of crisp. I prefer to get a paper dosa at restaurants. Super crisp, fun to eat with the bhaji, chutney, sambhar.
No one is shoving the dosa down your throat… so relax a bit there stiffy.
Different people, different choices.
For me a eating a paper dosa feels like eating a newspaper.

Sugarcane Milkshake at Seema Juice Centre. Paan Flavours & waffle paan at Jagdish. Fresh water chestnuts or bhujia ponk (fresh tender jowar, I guess only available in winters), at the station. The Bajaj Road Khao galli at Vile Parle has the Crispiest 'Khakra Dosa', Malai Gola or Sugar free Gola. The east has cheese burst wada pav, Pizza on naan, veg or non-veg makhani stuffed naan & oreo cold coco to wash down all that. 😅
