The author uses glue. For this model I decided to take a smaller square and make this model without glue. I managed!

I have made one paper star ... very pleased with myself so I have bought more coloured papers to make more . It’s difficult and takes a great patience but once completed it’s simply amazing 👍 Thanks a lot 🙏❤️ me and my two children enjoying a lot .

I love the kaleidoscope! but I found it very frustrating to keep it together while I added more pieces. I had to resort to adding a drop of glue to make the attachments firm enough to hold together. I think it is very beautiful however!
The main thing is you did it. You are well done. 💗😍😘
Its ok to add glue bc the paper somewhat wears overtime. There's a vid that shows someone adding just a tad of glue to some joins.

where can i buy the paper (i've got blue, but nothing else) (and sticky-notes won't work)
You can buy the same paper as sticky notes but without the sticky bit, they work great and they're the perfect size ^_^
Whats wrong with sticky notes they worked fine for me

The kaleidoscope is made out of 196pcs,if you choose 28pcs for each colour, 28×7=196. Makes sense,right?😅

初めまして自分も折り紙で同じ物を作っています自分も最初は組立てる時はやっぱり上手く出来なかったけどゆっくり反対側の差し込みすれば出来ると思いますよ
