Funny story about Eagles vs Giants: I'm a 27 year old man, born and raised on Long Island, NY. My father is a die hard Giants fan, ever since they won the Super Bowl in the 80s and he was getting mistaken for Phil Simms all the time (they're doppelgangers, when we go to games people wanna take pictures with him). So when I was born, he immediately began indoctrinating me in the Giants culture; I had Giants footie pajamas, jackets, hats, a Mark Bavaro jersey, you name it... Around when I was 7 years old, we went to visit my uncle at college, he was going to Syracuse and played on the basketball team with a young man named Donovan McNabb, who was also on the football team. He introduced us to him and said "this guy is gonna be the next Bo Jackson" (not exactly, but you get the idea). I immediately idolized him and began following his college career even at the ripe young age of 7. When he was drafted to the Eagles, I begged my father to buy me his jersey. After I badgered him incessantly, he gave in... then I asked for a Brian Dawkins jersey, and my dad asked me why and I said because I liked him too... When he pried more on the subject, I told him... I was an Eagles fan and didn't like the Giants anymore. The next 20 years were him and I jokingly bickering back and fourth about which team was better. Then, that faithful day of February 4th, 2018, he came downstairs wearing a Giants vs Patriots Superbowl Shirt and said "Theres only one team I hate more than the Eagles" pulled an Eagles hat from behind his back, put it on his head and said "and thats any team with Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, Go Birds..." and at 10:18pm, he hugged me as we both cried the tears of joy I had waited 20 years to cry. We may not like each other's teams, but in that moment, we were both Eagles fans.
So true. the reason for this is because the Patriots do not deserve all their good fortune. pre 2000 when belichick and brady came to the Pats the team was where it was meant to be, the middle of the pack. Thats where it should have stayed.

I would've included the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns. They are geographic rivals, and both teams complete against other in the AFC North. There is also, and probably the most important factor in the rivalry: the Paul Brown connection.

The Broncos Patriots rivalry was only because of Manning and Brady (and maybe because Tom Brady has a losing record to the Broncos and I believe it is the only losing record to a team he has). Us Broncos fans despise the Chiefs but we both respect each other. Even though the Chiefs have a 7 win streak (I think) against the Broncos, the games have been usually close.
The Broncos definitely have a bigger rivalry with the Chiefs than any team (maybe the raiders though). Even though the Raiders beat KC last year, the Bronco games have been closer and one of the few teams the Chiefs had a somewhat hard time with. I’m a Chargers fan btw.

Bucs Rivals: In the 90s it was definitely Green Bay. As bad as we were we had success against Favre and the games were dubbed Battle of the Bays. Later we had a strong rivalry with St Louis after them knocking us out of the NFC Championship game on a blown call then having a huge Monday Night match up the next season which is still one of the best MNF games I've ever seen. They scheduled us again in prime time cuz of how heated it got. Then at the turn of the 2000s it was FOR SURE the Philadelphia Eagles and I'd say this one is our all time greatest rival and even though Philly may not have felt the same way the city of Tampa has terrorized them in hockey and the NFL at given times and then you add the World Series loss to the Phillies. It was just a thing for the 2 cities. Not one sided when it came to the fan base. Since then it's flopped between NFC South rivals, at one point it was certainly the Saints and Falcons but I honestly feel like the one team we can't stand losing to is the Panthers more than anything. The fans, the colors and just everything about their team since the late 2000s grossed us out.
I’ve come to this video very late. My fav all-time rivalry is none of the above. I’m going to date myself and go all the way back to the 70s - Oakland Raiders vs. Pittsburg Steelers. I don’t remember where I heard / read this but, some analyst described this matchup thusly, “when these teams meet, the flags fly and the Earth shakes.” (It was something like that.). Another commentator, when reviewing the highlights of their game in ‘77, said, “The Raiders were in Pittsburgh last Sunday for their annual blood letting with the Steelers.” They met 11 times during that decade, 6 in the regular season and 5 times in the playoffs. That’s a lot of matchups for 2 non division foes. By the 80s though, there wasn’t much of one left. It was fierce at the time, arguably the best rivalry the league had going then.
My dad's a Steelers fan so naturally I'm a Ravens fan. Other than that the best part of the rivalry is that both teams know if they screw up even once the other team will take the division

The Broncos Patriots rivalry was only because of Manning and Brady (and maybe because Tom Brady has a losing record to the Broncos and I believe it is the only losing record to a team he has). Us Broncos fans despise the Chiefs but we both respect each other. Even though the Chiefs have a 7 win streak (I think) against the Broncos, the games have been usually close.

The Broncos definitely have a bigger rivalry with the Chiefs than any team (maybe the raiders though). Even though the Raiders beat KC last year, the Bronco games have been closer and one of the few teams the Chiefs had a somewhat hard time with. I’m a Chargers fan btw.

In the 90s it was definitely Green Bay. As bad as we were we had success against Favre and the games were dubbed Battle of the Bays.
Later we had a strong rivalry with St Louis after them knocking us out of the NFC Championship game on a blown call then having a huge Monday Night match up the next season which is still one of the best MNF games I've ever seen. They scheduled us again in prime time cuz of how heated it got.
Then at the turn of the 2000s it was FOR SURE the Philadelphia Eagles and I'd say this one is our all time greatest rival and even though Philly may not have felt the same way the city of Tampa has terrorized them in hockey and the NFL at given times and then you add the World Series loss to the Phillies. It was just a thing for the 2 cities. Not one sided when it came to the fan base.
Since then it's flopped between NFC South rivals, at one point it was certainly the Saints and Falcons but I honestly feel like the one team we can't stand losing to is the Panthers more than anything. The fans, the colors and just everything about their team since the late 2000s grossed us out.

I’ve come to this video very late. My fav all-time rivalry is none of the above. I’m going to date myself and go all the way back to the 70s - Oakland Raiders vs. Pittsburg Steelers. I don’t remember where I heard / read this but, some analyst described this matchup thusly, “when these teams meet, the flags fly and the Earth shakes.” (It was something like that.). Another commentator, when reviewing the highlights of their game in ‘77, said, “The Raiders were in Pittsburgh last Sunday for their annual blood letting with the Steelers.” They met 11 times during that decade, 6 in the regular season and 5 times in the playoffs. That’s a lot of matchups for 2 non division foes. By the 80s though, there wasn’t much of one left. It was fierce at the time, arguably the best rivalry the league had going then.
