Just remember, "Jesus Wept." I also lost someone very suddenly that was my other half, literally. Death does not get easier with time, the only thing that happens is, everything gets different. You will ride the wave of emotions and it's ok. I had to remind myself it's ok to cry and show emotions because I felt crying mean't I was weak. Then I remembered, "Jesus Wept." I find that one minute I think I'm alright, things are better, then the next, I'm not alright, and I feel like I'm drowning in an ocean of tidal waves, I can't breath. Everybody grieves differently, though. And I do get what you mean by, Curtis was real like you are now. It's still difficult for me to completely wrap my head around the fact one minute their here and the next second their gone from us. Death is so final and so hurtful. I live with hope now, more than ever. I hope to see and be with my other half again, when it's my turn to go. And God is always with us, even when we feel our loneliest, He is our comfort, He is our everything! Thank you Father for all..Amen.. Peace be with you...

I saw everything in your eyes and immediately knew....the space that you were in. Although, I dont know what its like to lose my husband, I have lost many family members, and its rough. What I will say is allow yourself to be anything that you feel in every moment. This is not easy and dont let anyone tell you how or what to feel...love to you.
