The Lion and the Mouse

One day, a little mouse scurries across a sleeping lion in the jungle. The lion wakes up and catches the mouse in his powerful paws. The frightened mouse begs for his life, promising that one day he might be able to help the mighty lion. Amused by the tiny creature’s words, the lion laughs and lets him go.
A few days later, the lion is caught in a hunter’s trap and is unable to free himself from the heavy net. As the lion roars for help, the tiny mouse hears his cries and rushes to his side. With determination, the mouse starts to gnaw at the ropes of the net. Bit by bit, the little mouse chews through the ropes, eventually freeing the lion.
The lion is grateful to the mouse, realizing that even the smallest creatures can do great things. The two become friends, and the lion learns an important lesson about kindness and how even small acts can make a big difference.
