In the UK, the Government fine manufacturers $18,900 for every ICE vehicle sold above 78% of their total sales and next year it will be all ICE vehicles above 72% of total sales. Some people who have ordered ICE cars, have had their orders cancelled by the manufacturer and offered the Electric equivalent for the same price as the ICE car that they ordered,. This makes sure of the required 22% sales of electric cars and so avoids paying the fines.
What is going on in the motor industry ? Life used to be relatively simple, now it’s horrendous with all this talk, real or not. Consumers must be baffled by it all, not knowing which way to go, when parting with a large amount of their money.
BMW is heavily in debt before EV’s. I’m sure governments have issued $ to subsidized them and they are now beholden to the EV movement being pushed by government and wef. This is the only way they can survive. Merc and VW are in the same boat.
Hydrogen is the only way forward, with Toyota and the brilliant company JCB, along with BMW are investing heavily. I believe Rolls Royce are also developing a hydrogen engine. It’s far easier to build hydrogen service stations, than having all the civil engineering, that is required for electric. Currently there are about 14 hydrogen stations, here in the U.K., but, as I said earlier, adding hydrogen systems, to our fuel stations, isn’t too difficult. Bring on Hydrogen!
You're surprised by the sight of a hydrogen-fuelled BMW car? That's exactly what was parked on display in front of the BMW Museum in München during my last visit in April 2000. BMW was waiting for the public infrastructure 24 years ago, and they're still waiting.
I did not hear the price for charging a hydrogen car. Hydrogen is very expensive to manufacture/you have to store it and then make it again affordable for charging the car. Furthermore the use of electricity to make hydogen is 3x more expensive!!! So I do not think that it will be cheaper in the end to buy a hydrogen car!
Synthetic fuel is the future just ask why Porsche are keeping their big V8's , cos it makes sense and everyone can keep their ICE cars for as long as they wish the Germans are world renowned industrial chemists and e-fuels are eco friendly, so why aren't uk citizens being given this option? It's one big scam to 8:43 get everyone to buy expensive ev's cos they need money as they are all about to go broke. UK alone owes £2.7Tn with no way to pay it back without using inflation. AC. They will learn it the hard way. Like Budweiser. And Harley - Davidson.
An electric BMW is a sick joke.
Joe Biden is a sick joke! Kamala is even a bigger joke!
Goodbye BMW, once 'the ultimate driving machine' to the 'ultimate joke no one wants'
It's irrelevant to me as I'll never own an EV.
don't worry the gov. will ban you from the roads unless you get one so good luck with that dream.
@ofensatul , as I'm 74 yrs old, I think I might escape the misery of EV ownership.
He is a disgrace and should be sacked EVs are not fit for purpose
I've never paid £5000 for a car. So I won't be getting a EV car. Everyone I know around me is the same. Totally detached from reality.
Another manufacturer heading for liquidation
And they wonder why Germany is going down the drain.
BMW will keep selling their EV cars to the small population of wealthy elites.

In all truthfulness, mes amis, ALL EV'S, vehicles of a Fool's Paradise, are but a fanciful dream...a Wet Dream.

Of course, someone has politely reminded him about the Net Zero narrative.

Whatever he's taking I don't want any, makes no difference to me never been interested in BMWs.
IN OUT BACK AUSTRALIA NO CHARGING STATIONS EXIST. EVS UNUSEABLE IN THE OUTBACK.
Oh dear, it is a shame the producers of this video do know that Australia and Austria are difference countries.
Rich people will buy anyway. The thing is that if they don't approach the middle class things will be bad and i am not talking only for BMW.
EVs are the non monopolized good future.
Bye bmw
More petroleum industry propaganda
Bmw wants to sell it in china
BMW is going bankrupt 😂
