Thanks for the video!! Quick question, when I save a new sound (for example an edit to my snare drum). If I unplug the drum set, will I lose the new sound I saved? Does the Alesis Nitro dm7x have an internal battery that maintains newly saved info when it's unplugged? Or will it go back to the factory default? Thanks much!
Hi, I don't know about the Alesis Nitro dm7x, because it's an Alesis Nitro Mesh model. My drum kit retains sound settings when I unplug the power. There is no battery here)
I have that too
💪
What are you running for equipment to record? Trying to get what I can to start doing covers again.
I use a laptop with OS Windows, a USB sound card and insert a cable from the output on the drum heads into it. I use the Audacity program for recording
Wait… you can use a double kick on the nitro mesh and max?? Everything that I’ve been reading was about how it didn’t register it properly and would skip beats. Whats the model of the pedal you’re running?
I think you can pick up a double pedal that will fit, for example, I bought the first one that came across and it fit, I was just lucky (mapex p500tw)
I have this kit and it was pretty bad.. didn’t even last a year.
Everything was fine with my drums a year later)
how did u place the double peds on ur bass drum? coz my pedal is wide to my bass drum
Hi, I'm using Mapex p500tw double pedal. It fits on the bass pad of these drums
@@VladyslavTykhonov thats great ! .. i used cheaper one thats why its doesnt fit
This is nothing with the RUclipsr playing, but who ever have ears listen. DONT spend a dime on Alesis products specially if you play double bass pedals, i has 2 Alesis kits, both of them where their “higher end kits” both of them where horrible, Alesis aslo is in my top 5 worst customer service ever. Go for Roland, it’s worth saving the money.
Friend, I don't know, maybe now there are some better competitors for the same money, but when I was choosing my first drum set a couple of years ago, there was nothing better than Alesis on the market in my country. Yes, of course, Roland or Yamaha are much better, but not in this price category (I'm talking about the Nitro Mesh model). Although I sold these drums a long time ago, I still do not find anything bad in them)
How do you record this thing on a computer? Are you using an audio interface?
hello, for recording I use a USB sound card, into which I insert a minijack cable to 2 jacks that are inserted into the output on the brains of the drums
What double kick pedal is that?
Mapex P500TW
Plz make a short reel on alesis nitro mesh kid recording with video plzzzzzzzzz i really need to record my kit as i m unable to understand
@@Drvedantpaharia. I already sold those drums) sorry
I have the same drum set
Nice💪
Looking at buying my fi st set, it's gonna have to be electrical... What would you recommend?
If you have a small budget, take a look at the Alesis Nitro Max, or the Millenium mps-850, if money is not a problem, then without thinking about it, buy a drum kit from Roland from the middle segment, for example TD-07KX
Buddy plz share you kit number and the number of all pads ??
I already have other drums, but I remember that this was sound set number 1, and all I changed was the sound of ride to crash
your playing was a bit off though
What are the custom settings you're using?
I used standard settings (set of sounds 1), and changed the ride sound to crash (I don't remember the sound number anymore)
What do you use to interface the drum kit with the computer ?
Hello, I use a usb cable for a midi signal, or if I just need to record sound, then a cable from two jacks to a minijack, which I connect to the output on the drum heads and to the input of the sound card
