I think reference to ‘tools’ is great, but prep as a tool only protects against HIV, it doesn’t protect against any other STIs. Condoms are 98% effective against most STIs, not just one. Diminishing the role of condoms is dangerous.
@@thequestion4818 Getting tested is great but if someone tells you they got tested 2 weeks ago but had raw sex with 4 or 5 different guys within the last week.... it kinda doesn't matter at that point. There are multiple permanent STD's that prep doesn't protect you from. Condom usage should always be encouraged.
Your biggest ally is always information. Get tested, know your partner's status (not just for HIV but all STIs), know the options you have for preventing an infection (condoms and prep are only two of them), know what you should do if you suspect you got an infection, understand how treatment works if you do have one and how to protect your partners from getting it.
This is a very narrow and privileged point of view considering they're in the p*rn industry, both and their partners get tested regularly because one is already positive (undetectable=untransmittable) and that's a requirement for their jobs and have unlimited access to information, doctors and meds very easily yet they only talk about prep? What about the rest of STIs? I understand that each and everyone of us are responsible for our own health BUT diminishing the role of condoms while society is nowhere near those standards is VERY dangerous.
Not a bad video and I am aware that your focus is mostly on Himeros these days, but I feel you could have had more of a conversation on the other tools beyond prep and condoms, what works for what sti's and what doesn't. Lots of the community tend to think if its not HIV its not worth worrying about, which is not accurate and ignores how some sti's can evolve to become antibiotic resistant from it spreading more widely. Follow Himeros religiously but miss your more in-depth RUclips videos. Rant over. Thanks making great work
No disrespect but we r getting advice on safer sex practices from someone who already has an std? I need more context and a longer in depth interview with this handsome gentleman. Did he become more aware about safer sex practices after he was diagnosed? Did he trust his partner n was betrayed? How did he become more aware? Video needs to be longer n not just “use prep” as a default.
Urinary Tract Infections aren't fun. Keep it wrapped. [Unless you've been with him and have been exclusive for over 3 years & you have both been STI-free. Then consider forgoing the condom.]
I wish I could afford Prep but I’m poor. Not only that, I so rarely get laid being the chubby guy with ugly teeth and facial features that its just more practical and cheaper to but condoms then to shell out the money for Prep and get tested like every month.
I'm on prep and don't tend to use condoms, and get tested every other month. I've never had an sti. I have friends (who say) they always used condoms yet still caught the occasional sti, so idk. When I'm the top, I can use condoms just fine, but I almost always have to take it raw when I'm bottoming. Skin-on-skin is easier on me
This is in fact shameful to see how unnatural sex is promoted. Sodomy is a sin. Judaism, Buddhism and Islam condemn this. Don't make people chase these. It's a sin.
You dodged the questions, and went straight to dehumanization of the LGBTQ community. Note that I'm not surprised. I can promise you there is nothing unnatural about love and sex, unless you've been conditioned to think so. Obviously you have.

He does go on to say he gets tested once a month. I think the point is communication and self care are majors components to safe sex.
Perfectly said. You’re absolutely right. He’s forgetting about other STD’s. Condoms are highly effective and protective.
Like....exactly!!!!

Who says you can only get tested for HIV. The point of testing is to test for a broad spectrum of STDs???

Hi
What are the side effects of being on PreP?
What if both of us are virgins? If we clean up a lot and have sex without a condom? What are the risks?
Maybe you shouldn’t be looking at a gay nigga channel and look it up on google
Don't be gay

This video is gross as Hell. The one on the left is almost ruining the colour purple, and that really is an achievement.
Can tell you've never been here before.
Your comment is actually gross. They both look fantastic no matter what color they wear.

If you feel that way, why in the world are you here? Still in the closet?
Also, let's talk about the human atrocities that the religions you named have promoted...
We cannot justify every action of a human as natural. At one point, these very humans might justify and normalise incest, paedophilia and also rape.
You dodged the questions, and went straight to dehumanization of the LGBTQ community. Note that I'm not surprised. I can promise you there is nothing unnatural about love and sex, unless you've been conditioned to think so. Obviously you have.
