The Kilburn 1 was on sale and if I am not mistaken they have written on their website something along the lines of "farewell to the Kilburn" something. They've done this with other products such as the Major II. They put the old ones on sale to get rid of the stock and prepare for the newer product's release.
Reymon B I wasn’t even looking on their Website, just saw a deal at a local tech store 😅 Well, I’m not mad anyway, the Kilburn 1 is just fine and blows my mind anyway
I just bought Kilburn II. It got very good sound quality. It's built of HQ materials, and working great. But there is one problem. When You try to use it with TV or laptop, after 10 minut of silence it go to standby (sleep), even when it's plugged in. And it will not turn itself on when you play something. You must click button by hand, which is very frustrating. Except that, it is nice product.
so it essentially is the same as the Kilburn 1 apart from its road durability? im keen on getting the Kilburn 1 or should i wait for this? there doesnt seem to be that much of a difference.
I got the Kilburn 1 and I love it. Even if the Kilburn 2 should be road durable, I wouldn’t bet on it, because I’m too scared it’ll break down, since IPS 2 isn’t that much. Plus there’s the lack of a headphone jack, but the speakers are a big larger and louder, and Bluetooth 5.0 lets you pair 2 devices at the same time, which can be helpful but I didn’t miss it tho. If you find the Kilburn 1 at a really good price, I’d still go with it. You‘ll be king of every Party with any Kilburn ;)
II has better sound... check the specs: Kilburn 1: Amplifiers: 1 15W Woofer + 2 High 5W Frequency Range: 62-20,000 Hz Kilburn 2: Amplifiers: 1 20W Woofer + 2 High 8W Frequency Range: 52-20,000 Hz What I don't like and don't understand either is why they changed the design, Kilburn i is much prettier. Kilburn II looks more generic while I is so beautiful, just look at the knobs.
Totally agree. Or if you have a good old iPod... or really anything other than phones with Bluetooth. Eliminating that jack makes this product a little less versatile.
@@alilujevs who says we're complaining? Watch this video again and tell us if it says anything about the 3.5 jack. By the time we posted this comment, no details yet other than what's on this video. I'm sure u are fully equiped with the details since the product is already available. Cheers!
In fact, my comment was not addressed directly to you but more to Kre8ivity. That thumb down was a mistake, wasn't attentive enough, sorry, my bad. I just saw him making a statement, before checked out the specs.
Of course, exactly 1 month after I bought the Kilburn 1

At least you have the 3.5mm headphone jack!

Why you changed the design?? Kilburn I is much prettier! Those new black knobs look so generic
Can anyone recommend some rock music that sound exactly same like the one used in the video?
Thanks for putting all features of the JBL Charge 3...All these could have been done on a Killburn(1).
Love it
Just ordered a kilburn 2 today...yeet
do u think stanmore1 sound is better or kilburn 2 for indoor home??
@@chocobokei2708 Yes, I just tested it at the store. Its way better
How is it working still
actually my favourite part of Marshall is the retro design. Now it was ruined.
I have two Kilburn 1’s.... this looks good but I don’t know why everything is eliminating the 3.5mm jack. Disappointing.
I prefer with a jack... Im old school... When all things fail, its always good to know u have options

3.5,, its in the back of the speaker, check the facts/specs before making a complaint
