I actually just turn most of my produce into smoothies, bugs into jerky and other 1 ingredient dishes to make most of my money now. I don’t bother with wine as it takes far too long to turn profit so I stick to sake and beer and buy seeds in bulk to plant in the greenhouse. I spend a lot of time on the kitchen and just eat some smoothies to boost stamina. I make 10-15k a day with cooking and ranching. Cranberries are great for fruit smoothies.
Biggest game changer for me was realizing I can turn any low value fish into 180 coins in the form of grilled fish. And apparently you can do the same thing with insects?
yeah but think about it... that's still only 1k per 5/fish/insects. Scale that up... 2k for 10 catchs ...4k for 20. How many fish does this game let you catch in a day? Not many. You'd be pressed to get in 15. Same thing with insects. 15k gold per day (working for it btw) is a really slow pace to get "rich". In Stardew Valley you'd make like 250k per week just shipping a greenhouse full of ancient fruit wine. Litterally 10 minutes of work to harvest and keg em when you've got the infrastructure going. But in this game I've got the kegs....I've got the crops but damn...Still grinding just for 15k gold per day. I mean luckily there's not much content to spend money on but when there will be it's not going to be good enough for a nice game balance.
I starting playing after the spring nerf update on March 10th. Bug Jerky doesn't give as much as the fan wiki says...I'm only in Fall year 1 and I'm sad that I missed the money making opportunities. I'm waiting for winter to see if the Sharks were nerfed too.
you have a lovely farm layout, what year are you in game now at this point? and is there much to do now you have reached the farm you have, as it seems like your making money now with nothing more to spend it on really.... some of your money making tips are really good, but mentioning the greenhouse is something you can only get right at the end of year 1 and if your ranked C, so these arent early game tips but more year 1 and year 2 tips
I am in year 4 in this recording. Yes, there isn't much left to do anymore cause most of the content is not yet implemented so I spend all money of decorations. Thank you for pointing out the mention of greenhouse and this being Year 1-2 tips. I just wanted to show what crops I have inside my greenhouse for year round processing. 😊 I will adjust the title to manage viewers expectations. Thank you!
Oh god.. All those titan arums that I sold without turning it into honey could've made me a rich man.. I wish I saw these videos when I started. I'm already in the winter so it might get patched before I even get to fall
incredible! to unlock the Greenhouse i guess you need to upgrade the town to rank C. do you know how to do that? i have cleared the ocean floor, reached lvl 40 down the silver mines, build barn, coop, mill and silo, and.... anything else to do?
Try to catch as many bug and fish species you can, then donate them all in the museum. You might have missed some. You can refer to the Coral Island Wiki for the list and where/when you can catch them. coralisland.fandom.com/wiki/Insects coralisland.fandom.com/wiki/Fish Make sure to complete the altar offerings too. You can also try getting Geodes and open them in the blacksmith store to get random artifacts you can donate in the museum as well. I hope that helps!
I hope I wasn't too late but if I'm not mistaken you should clear 40 ocean floors and donate 110+ to the museum (insect, gem, fish, insect, sea critters, fossil, artifact) and yes unfortunately you might need to count it manually. In case that you didn't know where to find more fossil & artifact you could visit the lighthouse at night and buy it from the black market boat (the day is random) the object that they sell also changed every week so make sure to keep check on it.
@@yourbasicasiangirl12497 thanks! i actually succeeded in reaching rank C in mid spring 2nd year. it's a slow and tedious process and i think the game needs a better way to show the town progression points. right now there is only the blackboard in the town hall that shows it vaguely
You mean the tools? You will need osmium bar. However, idk if it's already implemented though. 😅 I only have gold tools. If you meant the crops to osmium quality, just upgrade your seeds, plants and use fertilizers
Do you sell everything , or do you hoard things, or only keep a few? I am hoarding but debating on selling everything cause im tired of being broke lol
i made the mistake on doing all the seeds instead of just focusing on one crop and selling it like how you are doing. BTW love your layout on your farm too. goals for me lol :)
Thank you! I used to just sell everything at first lol. Kinda needed the money to buy furniture for decorations haha. I focused on that cause not much content yet when i started. ☺️
Honestly I'm still scratching my head on how to make "good" money in this game. Other than the shark and the two flowers that give 3k gold for their honey......Everything else so far barely sells for more than 300 gold. ... ish. Which is a real grind to get to hundreds of thousands much less the million mark as any Star Dew Player would know. The strawberries even after jammed are like 250. Cooked anything ... 250. You'd have to wait a WEEK for grapes in a keg to get like 800 per bottle out of them and this is silver + quality. As well it's not like you can make 1,000 kegs really quick or have the farm room for them because the trash mechanic respawns soooo slow. I tried the suggestions in this video.. 20 minutes irl per 1 in game day just to blend sugar cane in the kitchen. Selling all my jammed strawberries...all my quality is silver maxed. 6 cows and 6 chickens milked and mayo'ed and yogurted...every day and my daily money intake is like 8 to 15k. For like 30 minutes IRL or 1 in game day grind. That's just not good enough. Not to reach 6 figures without at least putting like 300 hours into the game. And even then that's grinding hours. Unfun really tedious grinding to the point where I actually fall asleep and my dishes turn to burnt lol. And the sharks.... You're only going to be able to catch like 8 a day. Gee....what do you know....that's also 8k worth of work....

Thank you! 💞 That means a lot! I focused on decorating since there's a lot of content that's not yet implemented anyway. 😅

I've read about being able to grill bugs but I haven't tried. I will try grilling fish too!! Thanks for the info!
@@cessxplays Bug jerky (any bug with the grill) sells for 235. This feels op.

How do you get grass? I only keep getting fiber.
