The revelation of God as Mrs. Eddy says: The Great I AM. And she is indeed right!!! Becoming once more as a little child and taking those steady and momentous ladder-steps upward in shifting one's loyalty from matter to spirit is not impossible, but simply takes great moral and spiritual courage. Part of that is taking responsibility in matters of unmasking, correcting, and rejecting every form of error. Taking responsibility does not mean "putting on a hair shirt," so to speak, and calling oneself names. It is simply bringing to light what needs to be corrected and the fact that it must be corrected, sometimes with tears -- the tears of a softened heart; the tears the Magdalen shed when she knelt at Jesus' feet and washed them with her tears, in the house of the Pharisee Simon. Mrs. Eddy says that if we seek the Savior as the Magdalen sought, and strive to improve in our daily lives, then we truly love much. And right now, this beautiful and stirring definition of what it means, and takes, to truly heal: to eradicate the false belief that there is a disease to be driven away. A chord has been struck with me!
the problem is disobeying the First Commandment, thou shalt have no other Mind before me, God. Mrs. Wilcox does explain things so I can understand it better.
