    AN APPEAL FOR FUNDS
    My passion is my music, that I compose myself. At the moment I am using a very old Yamaha keyboard to arrange and compose my music (16 years old in fact) and I am constantly being told that I really should get myself a better keyboard to improve the quality of my music, in order to make them good enough to have them made into CD's, which I can then sell on to the general public. At present I have only made my own 'home made' CD's using the equipment I have at present, and many of those I have given away to Rest and Care homes, who have responded very favourable to them. One Care Home recently wrote to me and told me that they are using my CD in their therapy sessions, and are extremely happy with the response they get to my music! That in itself gives me the drive and passion to want to raise the funds I so desperately need for a new keyboard, if only to make people’s lives less stressful with peaceful music, that is of a good enough quality instrumentally. Yes of course I want to make a living out of my music, I would be lying if I said otherwise, but giving comfort and pleasure to others with my music is my number one aim in life. I feel I have a viable product to offer, and one that can, not only improve my life financially, but improve other people’s lives from a spiritual perspective, and has already proven itself to do so! Even my local Job Centre are trying to get permission from their Head Office to see if they are allowed to play my CD in my JB, as they have all heard it, and are trying their best to help me get somewhere with my music, that's how much they believe in me! I have sold the occasional Electronic Album and Track on Bandcamp, but most people want a physical CD, of which my homemade offerings just don't cut the mustard. I am appealing to the Public for Donations to help me save towards a Yamaha Genos Keyboard, this keyboard will enable me to greatly improve the standard of my recordings, of which I then intend to have made into professional quality CD's and covers to sell online, and in shops etc. I know there is a Market and a demand for my compositions, I just need help to realise my dream, and I am not too proud to admit that I do not have the funds to buy one, and I cannot do it without the help of you good people out there. If you are reading this, and want to donate something towards my efforts to raise money for my Yamaha Genos, then any amount, however small, will be very welcome, and greatly appreciated. Click on this link to give a donation. Thank you so much. www.paypal.me/...

    I have 4 electronic albums which can be purchased and downloaded from the following link: kerripowles.ba... All monies raised by the sale of Albums and/or tracks will go towards the purchase of a Yamaha Genos Workstation, which will inprove the diversity and quality of my compositions. Many thanks.
    This simple piece I think just about sums up this delightfull photo taken in 1905 of a Native American Indian mother and baby. Please feel free to leave a comment or subscribe to my channel if you like my music.

    I listen to this song EVERYDAY. I have let some close friends in on this music. What a gem it is. It somehow removes you from this evil world if only for a few minutes. Just close your eyes and enjoy. Radio and record labels are extinct now. But great music is still around, you just have to find it.

    My mom's always told me that my great-great grandmother was Cherokee. The family loosely jokes about our heritage, and it's confused me a lot. But still, i like to enjoy the Cherokee culture whether it's part of me or not. And I love this song.

    Osiyo. I am writing a novel about the Cherokees in Oklahoma. It is a mystery fiction. I play this music when I am writing. It is great inspiration for my writing. This will be my 11th novel published. It is called Field Of Bones. I was wondering if you would allow me to use this music in a video ad when the book comes out. If not I will understand. God bless you for this wonderful music.

    It is beautiful, who cares if it is pure Cherokee tradition or not. It is like the silly argument as to whether Shakespeare actually wrote every one of the plays, what does it matter, it doesn't alter the poetry. This is as good as anything composed by Brahms.

    • @77MyEsha
      @77MyEsha  7 лет назад +5

      I cannot thank you enough for such a lovely comment. Some people are too high-brow when it comes to music. I was told fairly recently that I sould NOT refer to myself as a composer at all, as I have no educational grounding in music, being purely self taught. Well whether I should refer to myself as composer or not, I have a passion and drive for what I do and am going to carry on regardless! :)

    • @lescox8667
      @lescox8667 7 лет назад +2

      Right on Kerri. Ignore the critics, they are usually failed artistes themselves. You do what you think is right, what you think sounds right, not what some idiot thinks. Experts have always got it wrong. Fred Astaire was told he cannot sing, cannot act but could dance a little, The Beatles were told they were just a run of the mill amateur group, and Rackmaninov was told to find something else to do. Even Grace Vanderwal was originally advised not to sing ner own originals as that was "fatal". Don't you just love experts.

    • @77MyEsha
      @77MyEsha  7 лет назад +1

      That really makes me feel postive about myself. There will always be those to put you down in life and give off negatively in everything they do and say, then someone like you comes along and makes everything that much brighter again, and for that I thank you :)

    Sayhan, I'm also a mix of Italian, Jew, Hispanic, and Native American. I don't which one though. My grandmother came from Roma, Texas. My grandmother didn't say much about her childhood, but her mother, Teresa de Esparza, was a mid-wife in San Antonio, Texas. I see that your're Jewish like me, but I know my tribe - Judah.

      I don't think any of us can say with any certainty that we are pure anything anymore. We are all Gods family, it's just a shame that in this world in which we live, we don't co-excist peacefully with one another. I am not Jewish, I was born in England UK in a place called Winchester in Hampshire, but have spent most of my life living in Brecon, Powys UK in Wales which is very beautiful and an inspiration for much of my music.

      OK let me start by saying my music is NOT traditional Cherokee music but loosely based on style alone, so this is merely a modern take (my interpretation) on Native American music. I am a very keen Native American flute player also, and have a general love of all thing Native American. LInks to these pieces might give you more of an idea of what I do. These I have composed and played on my Native American flute, which are more traditional sounding, but again please note they are my compositions and modern interpretations of Native music only. I hope you ike them. Your feedback on them is very welcome: ruclips.net/video/tL1RDaz3I7o/видео.html
