Bizarre Six Nations this year; Wales have sputtered to 4 straight wins, England looked unstoppable until they were neatly unstitched in Cardiff, Ireland misfiring badly but still running third despite a pasting in round 1, France, Scotland and Italy all hopeless, beguiling any expectation of continued improvement following the last few seasons of promise. The question becomes, World Cup 2019: another SH whitewash?
I don't think so..the NH teams have certainly closed out the gap. Wallabies and springboks have been very inconsistent, so the only question is: Can anyone beat the All Blacks?

No apart from the All Blacks the SH especially the wallabies are in a state of disarray...after early promise I don't think Cheika is the right coach. I do wonder whether the recent loss will play mind games with AB confidence...be great to go back to them choking all the time lol
@@davidlittle7418 fair comments all, however I will add that the big SH teams have a habit of raising their game come World Cup time, as do the likes of France and Argentina. The All Blacks are actually the one main exception, as they'd historically struggled in the competition until 2011.

Ah Japan. The host themselves . Surely they have a chance to get to the semi's of the RWC this year. Unless the hard tackling Samoan legends manage to stop them. Both teams in the that group will play attacking rugby and not the percentage game that is ruining rugby, so I am thinking ;)

France are now suffering like the England football team. They don’t have a salary cap so all the big stars are going over for the money. There are more foreigners in the first teams than Frenchmen so their talent pool is shrinking. In the English Premier League, more than 60% of the players in the first team are foreigners so it’s no surprise the football team are crap. Same for French rugby now.
