- Welcome to another episode of Scrap Mechanic Multiplayer Monday! Today we are trying to copy workshop creations without ever seeing them. Each of us picks a simple creation from the workshop, then we have to describe it in one sentence, without naming what it is. The others have to try and create what they think is based on that description. Whoever gets the closest wins!

You 3 have played with each other a lot, so you know each other's strengths pretty well, so here's an idea: You agree on a theme, then everyone spends 1 hour making a creation for that theme, but trying to play into the other 2 people's strengths, not your own.
For the 3 strengths, it could be that Scrapman is good at making "physical" creations (physical mechanisms, vehicles, etc), kAN is good with logic, and Moonbo is good with aesthetics (cool looking creations, setting a mood, many details).

I'm embarrassed for Scrapman for not getting a washing machine. That felt super obvious from the second Kan said "spins" and "cleans"
I thought electric toothbrushes
To be fair Scrapman said that the tip with daily usage of the item threw him off and i agree. I knew it was the washing machine, but who the hell uses it daily? I use mine once a week max.

@@phoenixlordx4625 Kan's clue was, something that spins as it cleans stuff you use everyday.
Spins while it cleans, the drum of a washer. Stuff you use every day, clothes, unless you're a nudist.
But the real machine it self doesn’t spin. A component of the washing machine spins.
When kAN spawned the creation in, he showed that it actually does spin (and bounce around) when turned on.
I heard that first one as "using the machine every day" so it wasn't a washing machine. Who does their laundry every day? (I realize now it was the CLOTHES used every day). I like this concept, and it goes way faster than the one person trying to describe every detail of the creation to the other. Got my vote for more of these! Maybe work on the wording of your descriptions a bit but not to give it away too much.
But that logic was also dismissed because Scrapman "uses" the floor cleaned by the Roomba every day.

I was basically on the same wavelength as scrap man here, my first thought on the first one was also electric toothbrush and roomba, and on the second one, I was thinking battering ram initially until moonbo mentioned water and I thought ship, but thought it was too obvious until I remembered how much moonbo has been playing sea of thieves recently and I knew we had it right
personally I thought kan's was obvious. even setting aside the ambiguity with "every day", how many cleaning appliances in general can you even think of? the ones that should immediately come to mind are dishwasher, washing machine, and vacuum. and even though all 3 technically have spinning parts, one of them is much more significantly associated with spinning
That's exactly what I was thinking, I thought it was pretty obvious even though it might not be used everyday and what scrap man made isn't something a lot of people might have
@@Redladybug12342 but as scrapman pointed out, kan never said the machine was used everyday, the things it cleans (clothes) are used everyday.
@@DarthZ01 whether or not you actually use them everyday, a washing machine should be one of the first things you think of when you think about cleaning appliances. in which case, even if you personally (somehow) don't use clothes every day, it's not too hard to imagine how kan would justify calling clothes something you use every day. the important part when deciphering clues isn't whether or not your personal experience matches the clues; it's whether it makes sense for the clue-giver to be of the opinion that something matches the clues

I really struggled with Kan's clue because I was viewing it as a cleaning thing we use every day, not to clean things that are used every day. It's a subtle thing, but I had no clue either due to that misinterpretation.

@@x3mskbord Yeah, that really depends on the household for sure. I only wash my clothes about once a week.
I'm sorry I'm only 2 minutes and 12 seconds in. But Man, you have to rely on a bunch of gadgetry that you can't actually create yourself at home, something that spins that you use to clean everyday the only thing I can think of is my arm and a wash rag.. and before anyone starts wanting to hate on me, I have enough clothes to last more than a week I don't need to use my washing machine everyday. I'm a machinist by trade, and can build one myself if I needed to.. however, Mr. Kan I love you by the way. I know you work with big machinery, and I watch your videos all the time. and of course you Mr. Scrap man, an engineer. I have been watching you for years. Thank you both for the great true and genuine content.

Nice challenge game idea! I would have built a floor cleaning robot, too (although I don't own one). Especially, because the "that we use every day" leaves open, if that part of the sentence refers to the machine or to what it cleans. ... And you only use your washing machine every day, if you have a rather large family or don't give a s... about the environment, running it 90% empty. Looking forward to see more of that challenge type.
MM idea: Exploding Franken-CARcasses
Each participant will start by individually building a vehicle. Once completed, every player receives one of each type of vehicle, ensuring that each player has one instance of ScrapMan’s vehicle, Kan’s vehicle, and Moonbo’s vehicle. Each player then strategically places one explosive devices on each of the other players’ vehicles. With ScrapMan, Kan, and Moonbo as examples, there will be a total of nine unique vehicle carcasses, and 18 explosions, with each player having three distinct vehicles.
Afterward, using the weld tool, 50 additional blocks, two wheels, and three suspensions, players will combine the collected vehicle carcasses with the added components to create a Franken-car. This Franken-car will be unique to each player, incorporating elements from the original vehicles.
Once the Franken-cars are assembled, a race will commence. Thrusters and glitches are not allowed, meaning the race will rely solely on the vehicles’ design and physical properties, as well as weak points targeted on the opposing players car with your own being more secure. Feel free to modify to fit.
for the first 30 seconds i was things you use everyday ingame, soon as the sentence "well, i hope you use them everyday" i realised the error

Challenge idea: All 3 of you make a carboard boat with spudguns, and all try try destroy each other and you could also add some explosive blocks to simulate a magazine.
A thing that spins that cleans things we use everyday. The first thing i though of is an old fashion Car wash. For the second I thought of a trebuchet. For the third I though of a ship.
Hmm... I liked the concept. My initial thought was that it's better than the building with descriptions for another person to blindly follow along, because there won't be so many changes going on.
As it played out, I decided both are interesting in their own way, but I think I'd prefer a bit more building time for this one. I dunno... maybe not, also, since it did add some pressure. 🤔
Maybe the one giving the sentence can choose how long? That could even be part of the clue... imagine if kAN only gave two minutes for the washing machine, indicating that it's a very simple thing, Scrapman gave 5 minutes for the cannon, and Moonbo gave 15 for the ship, hinting that it's a more involved construct?

You should do another "I Build, You Build", but with changes. Three walls(or 4, if you can get kosmo) so nobody can see what anyone is making. One person does a running commentary of what they are building and the other two EACH try to follow along with their own build.
you should do it like the telephone game, someone describes the original to one of them, then once he’s finished his version of the original, he describes his version to the next person, then the last person describes it to the original, and gets to see how far they strayed
Try the inverse of this: one player makes an original creation, then the others find the best match they can on the workshop.
I liked this MM. This was a lot better then the "telephone" game that was done a month or so ago where you gave instructions on how to build something.
Actually, I'd love to see 3 of you on the brigantine sometime. :D
wikipedia done you dirty with a fencepost error scrapman: the cannon was maybe a 13th century invention, not a 12th (remembering 12th century=1100s), although adding wheels to the gun carriage (and, for that matter, trunnions for elevation changes) are a later refinement (I want to say- late 14th, maybe 15th century, but I'd have to look it up)
Sadly Wikipedia is often filled with incorrect information causing many people to be misled and it's sad considering how often Wikipedia is used

Next Multiplayer Monday challenge: House cleaning time trial. Build House appliances that clean such as Vacuums, Roomba's, Brooms, etc.
it would be be nice if the one who gives the sentence dont get to see what the others is building, makes the reveal and reaction at the end more fun.

Hi, I love these type of challenges.
Somthing really clever that moonbo could have done was get a ww1 plane because some of them were made out of wood if I am correct, and they weren't used on land technically speaking so it would still fit the description.

You should create a pirate ship 2v2 challenge, where you have one person man the ship, and the other one man the cannons
Multiplayer monday idea: race without tires and fuel. So the main idea is that no basic wheels powered by motors are allowed, at least as the main way of propulsion and you should try using something else (walker legs, pistons, springs, cows etc.)

I never screamed so hard at a video before “ITS A WASHING MACHINE”
One thing to mention about cannons, the chinese had gunpowder all the way back to the 10th century, almost 9th. Thing is, its rare that we ever really get taught how far back this kind of firepower actually went to. It was mindblowing that matchlocks have been around since 1100 roughly (I think 1300 if im not far off, but within that time). I mean really we've had this kind of weaponry for a while

Just wanna say, I think Dishwasher would fit kAN's sentence so much better than a washing machine... despite the resolving logic. You don't need to use a washing machine every day, but you should use a dishwasher every day unless you keep dirty dishes laying around (@me, even though I have a dishwasher and rinse my dishes off every time I use them).
For the cannon you could've said "18th century ships had dozens of these"

I mean cannons weren't used in Europe at all till the early 14th century, and got popolar in the 15th century only. Catapults were one of the most common siege weapon till that time. Surely used by basically all armies in the 12th century. They were First invented and used in 400bc and cannons first invented in the 12th century, but that doesn't mean that the use of catapults stopped there, no one in Europe even knew the existence of them (cannons) in the 12th century, because they were invented in Asia
you should do a battle ship minigame in trailmakers where you build battleships to fire at targets on land

I took about half a minute to figure out the washing machine. At first I thought vacuum cleaner. Then fan or AC (the clean the air, kinda). Then I just went "Ohhh, washing machine, they spin and clean clothes!"

You know, cool design isn't really necessary in a vehicle. You should try making a vehicle that looks boring but is very powerful.

I 100% thought toothbrush for Kans, and I knew it couldn't be that as I don't use an electronic toothbrush but could not think of anything else. I am on scrapmans side on that one.
