She was overjoyed to inform her friend that she had been hired for a job. Her friend assumed they would head home, but she insisted on window shopping for clothes. Since she was offered a high salary, she felt she could buy anything she liked. Her friend reminded her to repay her mother for the hardships endured in sending her to school. However, she firmly stated that it was her mother who had obliged her to study.
On their way home, they overheard a conversation between a mother and daughter along the road. The mother told the little girl that she didn't have enough money, but the child promised to buy her mother everything when she grew up and found a job. She and her friend paused, as she remembered making a similar promise to her own mother when she was little.
As they entered their home, she saw her mother lying on the floor. She rushed her mother to the hospital. Upon waking up, she informed her mother about her new job. They hugged each other while her mother thanked God.
