It’s so crazy how stuff like this is so fragile. Like this is history that could easily be lost to time if we don’t share and keep it alive. Hopefully one day the actual footage could be shared with the world. Art needs to be preserved with respect. Long live Dilla and SV🫶🏼
Orator Now That I’m Gone is the only joint I got out it’s on Spotify iTunes You Tube has em but you gotta type in song titles I’m especially proud of Wrath of my Pen and Never Say Goodbye
Great, another mystery that will live rent-free in my head. At first for years, it was Feelin' Good, but that last track??? Man that's wild!! 🔥🔥🔥 "MONEY DON'T MAKE NO SENSE!"
WHAT THE HELL!? This is all rare shit. Abudancy is a remix of SV1 Track 2 and the drums would turn into What It's All About. The One For Me same sample as Vivrant Thing. This blows me away because it just shows the exclusive joints SV had as DJ tools and also how the songs were constantly evolving. Jay Dee was a serious beast. Thanks for the upload!
omg... you are an absolute legend. Nothing less. Been obsessed with the feeling good flip since I heard it in the house shoes interview. And that last song... woooo-eeeeee!
Ever since i hear you know how i feel i always wondered if ill hear the full track and i always thought nah that aint happening. And not only did you upload the track you gave us the whole fking show, brooo thank u soo muchhh 🙏🙏🙏💯💯💯
Lol. Ngl. Back in the days of Jake One and The Cool Kids (Late-2000's), I remember seeing some videos floating around with HouseShoes raving about how awesome it was being a fly on the wall for a lot of the legendary moments that would transpire when he was coming up in The D. He seemed to have a lot of genuine love for Dilla, among a few other prominent figures in The 1990's Underground Hip-Hop Scene of Detroit. Some of it would come off humble and grateful of him to note. At other times, a hubristic undertone would appear abruptly and maybe it's just him being prideful that I'm taking out of context. It is very easy to discern that and maybe misconstrue it for deliberate pretentiousness. I think he means well in the end. I never knew he was running livestreams and sharing content like this, but hating when people would clip and spread it as their own cropped uploads.
Yea man, i got a lot of love for houseshoes i really do, and all the stuff he releases to us, but he can also come off a little arrogant and annoying at times, he streams all this great music on his twitch but gets angry whenever we put it on yt or release it, i definitely think that dilla would have wanted all his work to be put out there and heard!! And not just sitting there rotting in someones drawers
@@mobbdeepfan1635 Haha yea, but their show actually ended before they had a chance to play it, you can hear the show ending on the original audio from Houseshoes where you got it from.
Would like to find a higher quality version of Abundancy just the instrumental tho...also wish dilla could have released feelin good.. track was bumping 🔥
whats the deal with houseshoes playing this shit for us and then complaining we share it. Obviously well put it on youtube, instagram and everywhere. Yo shoes..I love you bro but give that energy into beat making coz it doesn't make sense man.. Even dillas family had a hiccup with him, but to be fair, dilla apparently specifically asked his friends to handle his music and not his mom. like to the point dilla was rude and disrespectful about it, like my dukes doesnt have music taste or something (just rumors I heard around, pls dont take my word for it) So we're prolly missing something. like the possibility that Shoes is sitting on instrumental version of shook once remix makes me wanna scream. I dont know if theres a legit reason why we shouldnt do this (dillas estate) or just because he feels special having it (cant blame him lmao) anyways, great upload!!
Exactly bruh, houseshoes should definitely release dillas music!! If Jay Dee was still alive he would be angry as fuck that his music aint be released bruh!! Its so sad too, because i know mfs like houseshoes be sitting on so much music but he REALLY doesn’t want us to share it for some reason?
@@mobbdeepfan1635 Yeah, y’all have a point but there are some weird dickriding fans that as soon as shoes plays something people gotta post it and I will say if I was shoes I would feel a certain way. not saying gatekeeping is cool, but sometimes gatekeeping is needed and is necessary…some things are jus exclusive.
