  • Getting back to the armour assembly, here I show how to cut out the pieces with tin snips and sand the edges down.

Finally getting back to this project and wanted to share that the best glue for parts assembly is OATEY ABS CEMENT for plumbing. I tested several cyanoacrylates and epoxies and they all come apart but the plumber's glue is solid as heck!

Great video. I recently bought a shadow trooper kit and was going to cut with the electric tool, but it was very risky, I will instead use the tin cutters as it appears to be less risky.

Could you cut it with anything else because I'm definite that I don't have tin snips

Maybe wire cutters but i can't think of any other hand tools that would do it. Tin snips aren't expensive though if you have a Walmart or hardware store nearby.

How long did it take to receive your shipment, I've heard if wait times as long as 2 years which is insane

Yikes! I think it was the better part of a year for me, but that was back during the first pre-order.

Hmm I see what you mean, the site just says delivery is "Winter 2017". I checked my records and found that mine took 9 months.

You do realize that you can use Novus plastic polish and it will take off most marks from wearing your kit.

I did not, but now i do. Thanks for the tip!

Paint is to hard to match up with the plastic and it scratches off very easily.
