It is really amazing how many mechanical, electronic parts and CPU's make up that camera. I have one in my drawer with a blown up self destructed shutter. It is interesting to see the guts stripped down to their individual parts and as someone else said was disassembled respectfully it seems.
I just can't get the top cover off. It's stuck at the edge near the shutter button & infra red light. Is there a hidden screw somewhere? I just removed all visible screws that went into the top cover. I even removed the hand grip rubber. But no screw. Any advice? Do I need to start from the bottom of the camera or remove more panels? It looked so easy to just remove the top.
Still one of my favorite film camera in 2020
I still use my N8008. I kinda like it better than many of my other cameras.
