Guilt isn’t the question here. If we can eradicate them without negatively effecting the ecosystem as a whole, it’s imperative.

Although that’s probably what we’re going to do anyway because...uh, humans, the ecosystem has a delicate balance. For example, in a habitat where mosquitos are the majority of a frog’s diet, we may see a good number of those frogs die out, or bats, or birds. I mean shit there’s a fish called the mosquitofish...so the mosquitofish die, then who eats the mosquitofish, and who it’s eats that, etc, etc.

We are talking about 1 million deaths per year and billions of nights people stay up because of buzzing in their ear. It's an animal that can sneak into any house in any city. Even if some other species go extinct as well we shouldn't care saving people is the higher priority

No its not, u are thinking individually, as a whole species, mosquitoes are in all rights of living in a world in which another species is ruining it. They are not the problem.

    • @ChrisTian-ed8ol

The problem is that too many plant and animal species rely on mosquitoes too breed and eat. We'd cause other species too, possibly, go extinct.

And this was how ZIKA was made, British scientists let loose their Frankenstein "sterile" mosquitos in Brazil, during the olympic games of Rio de Janeiro, due to the influx of tourism, in attempt to curve cases of Malaria which is rampant in Brazil, and so tourists wouldn't bring diseases back home after the Olympics, BUT it backfired, instead the lab mosquitoes mixed genes with Brazil's indigenous mosquitoes and created a FUCKIN OUTBREAK called ZIKA that spread quicky throughout Latin America all thanks to those douche bag ass British Scientists, but no one talks of this, it has been hidden from the public, babies being born with small brains, and small heads, forever deformed and disabled due to the Zika gene that wreaks havoc to our DNA when bitten by a mosquitoe which deposits disease infested saliva glands into our bloodstream, making us the sterile ones because the mosquitoes beat the science experiment, they were suppose to be sterile and die off, instead they mixed genes creating a new super mosquito, The Government hides this truth because they know damn well every Zika case reported would sue the British empire back to the stone age for releasing their little science experiment!!!

      the video is misleading.
most scientists think it's probably an idea worth pursuing, but the reason we didn't do it yet is not for a lack of trying, but for a lack of a means.
doing what the video says is easier said than done, it's very hard to completely eradicate a mosquito species even using this technique because there's no way to guarantee the whole population has the sterile gene.

you may say we are already interfering ..... so ...you can see the results, can't we?
perhaps it may give rise to something that is deadly and stronger than us.
whether you agree or not , you must acknowledge that nature is very powerful and we are learning the way it is and the way it has been organised and ofcourse still we are trying to answer the two important question "how" and "why"....

@SilentBob420BMFJ "Well that got awkward real quick. Sorry man but I wouldn't purposely disclose that you truly believe in Noah's Ark, unless 1. you're talking about the water park 2. you're trolling."
This is a false dichotomy fallacy, as a third possibility exists: I truly believe in the historical account of Noah's ark.
      >"Years ago I saw some poll that 90% of Christians know the Ark is just a story. Think about that... Not 90% of people, but 90% of Christians."
That's nice, but this is simply a fallacious appeal to majority. Even if 90% of Christians don't believe in Noah's ark does not mean it didn't really happen. If in fact 90% of Christians believed in Noah's ark, would that then change your mind about the historicity of the event? That's what I thought.
      >"People who might go to church and believe other things in the bible, but a boat that couldn't even hold ONE PERCENT of the Earth's animals? Nope."
And something tells me you haven't done even basic research on how many animals needed to be on the ark. I bet you think every insect, every fish, every germ, etc needed to be on there, right? How about do some actual research: creation.com/how-did-all-the-animals-fit-on-noah-s-ark
      >"BTW that theme park where the dude built the Noah's Ark boat... A hilarious waste of money. It was a total failure."
This is simply irrelevant to the historicity of the biblical account.

When millions of locusts are essentially born at the same time they have the real potential to wipe out all of the vegetation in the immediate area because they are extremely hungry and there are so many of them however it's because they know that future generations of locusts or dependent on the Regeneration of vegetation that is why they don't completely decimate an area before they go to another area they always leave something behind so that the vegetation can grow back for future generations of locusts.
