Your attempt at 4:00 is actually the way I first solved mine. With the right twist you can actually get one compelte circle properly in position over that joined center and it gets you into a halfway position. It wasn't until I took it apart again that I saw you could drop it thorugh "all the way".
Beautiful machining and workmanship on that puzzle... I am so amazed at the way they came together, of course it was evident at the start that it would be a twisting action... but like you I didn't see it, what a great puzzle this was!
I have them all and just got the Wavelinks a few weeks back... Craighill makes the best quality metal puzzles and this one is my favorite so far. They are well engineered, heavy and challenging. I back them as soon as announced, so I can get my hands on them before they are generally available for public sale.
I got the solution really quickly, 'cause the name is also a clue: Waves move fluidly, one affecting the others; a natural example of coordinated motion. I had a clear picture in my mind of the second solution where the two pre-assembled sections just naturally slip together. I think it also has a little bit of a red herring built in as well, with the pieces being different colors despite being the same shape. :)
Reminds me of the 3 cube puzzle a few years back. I ended up making that 3 cube puzzle for neighbors along with some 3D printed ones as well. Might attempt to draw thiis one and 3d print one.
Very reasonable pricing. Ceramic casting is a great fit (literally) for this odd shape! Would love to model this up in cad and 3D print a white-clear set for myself but even the best resin printer on the market wouldn't be a good fit for this due to supports, and I've yet to see any kind of nylon SLS printer that does clear prints at an acceptable quality level for something this polished!
Man when the second donut slides into place, my brain doesn't understand what happens. It's almost like seeing a glitch or a 4th dimension or something.
That eureka moment was amazing!
Truly mind bending moment. From chaos and confusion, instant perfect order. What a thing to behold.
This was really something new. Mind bending. Many thumbs up to the designers.
Absolutely!
Major props to the designer, that moment where they connect together is one of the best I've ever seen! Absolutely stunning.
I remember those!
Still doesn't beat that level 10 giraffe puzzle.
I'll never forget that.
Noting is hard as the Giraffe! 👉🦒
The motion of solving is one of the most beautiful mechanical movements I have ever seen.
It's very elegant.
One of the most satisfying puzzles I've ever seen. I hope they do another production of it, maybe at a lower price point as well.
That is simply mind-boggling. There are some astonishingly clever people out there. Not to mention, it’s rather beautiful to boot.

7:53 : one of my favorite moment on your channel :)

Super satisfying solution, it kinda made me a little giddy with excitement too lol
I love that it can be solved by mixing the colors or keeping the colors separated.
The design and the machining are both exceptional. Great puzzle.
The way those twist together is beautiful, I’d love to see that captured in slow-motion
The motion of the final solve would never get old.
The "Wow" moment is gold. Amazing puzzle.
this type of design is so beautiful, for some reason

Beautiful puzzle! On the wish list for sure

I loove those types of puzzles. Thats kind of like my hanayama puzzle with the sphere inside the box. They corkscrew together and its so satisfying
Wicked puzzle, great design.
That solution reaction was awesome

Awesome puzzle! And again you can't help but wonder - how can anyone think of such stuff?
Neat little puzzle. Like how simple yet hard it was. Kinda reminds me if a pretzel but smaller.
Amazing

Wow. Just bought one, my first ever kickstarter purchase.
You'll love it! 😊👍
This is one of those where the solution is easy, conceptually, but actually doing it without having like 9 hands is the hard part.
Mesmerizing
I ordered already, but even seeing the solution, I don't think it is going to help me! That was a great solve.
Amazing job as always!
Now I’m really curious what was on that card!
Will let you know in the next video
What was on the card? … excellent puzzle btw
Have not opened it yet 🤔😁
Almost million subs💪
Keep on puzzling!
I wonder if it can be solved by arranging them in 8:32 position, then twisting, cos that is how I visualized the solution.
Mind definitely blown
🤯😁

"This is how the puzzle looks": fine.
"This is what the puzzle looks like": fine.

Mr puzzle of the puzzles. I just saw this puzzle you're getting ready to do on Chris Ramsey's channel.
Lemme guess, he bumbled around, couldn't get it, called the creator for a "hint"? Lol
@@groowanderer he actually got it together without calling the creator
Hope you still watched it!
@@Mr.Puzzle yes I did, I watched every one of your videos
I think Mr Puzzle's lighting does a better job showcasing how beautiful this puzzle is.
Absolutely beautiful puzzle! However, did I miss your scoring (1 to 5)? Has to be at least a 4 in my opinion
It was on the screen very shortly, indeed 4 out of 5.
Yes, forgot to mention butt added the graphic.
I gotta get this 1..!
👌
Hey, when are you going to do the Hellraiser puzzle? 😉
🫡
Instinctually, my first thought is have two pieces, halves, I'm each hand, and link both semi-circles into circles at the exact same time.
OOOOHHH! WOAH! You line up all four pieces and push! Woah, wtf!!! ❤🎉 that's an amazing solution!
they should re name it ,
The MC Escher Wave
I was hoping that was the solution. Black to black, silver to silver lol great job
Both ist possible, mixed and same colors.
i want to know how it's even possible to manufacture such a mind blowing object .
But the fact that u got solid colors 🤯
Both variants are possible!👍
Mr. Puzzle - How about a head to head Wavelinks solving contest with Chris Ramsay?
Too late, now we know the solution 😁
@@Mr.Puzzle Ok, how about the next one? It could be a simultaneously streamed Zoom meeting.
