I’m usually a listener on spotify but I wanted to hop on to youtube in the hope that yall see this but I just want to say that I am so thankful for this podcast!! I recently moved from CA to Wisconsin for grad school (Phd incoming 👩🎓) and it’s been very lonely and very white lol so this podcast has been so comforting while I’ve been homesick ❤️I’m usually a silent follower but I had to share because this podcast has really gotten me through, it’s like listening to my sisters speak. One of my New Year’s resolutions is yo be more mindful of how much I consume. Aiming to not buy any new clothes and just style the clothes I already have.
My rose: I will be starting a new job in Child Care for IE schools. Thorn: I am afraid and extremely nervous that I will get over stimulated with the kiddos and not like the job after all. I still hold a warehouse job on the weekends as a backup plan but I’d hate to leave a job because I feel like it leaves a bad stigma on my name/background. Love you’re podcast by the way ❤
Congrats on the new role, bestie! 😍 remember to give yourself grace as you work through the difficult times! It’s not about immediately being the best, it’s about gradual progression. If you studied hard for this you should let that other job go and fully commit to your new role (if finances permit). Believe in yourself ❤
