can recommend the 5600X gives the performance of top tier intel K series chips for about $300 less. its the best Bang for your buck in terms of CPU's in the world at the moment. Similiar to that goldilox zone of cheap but insanely powerful that the GTX1060 6GB GPU sat in for years until the 3060 hit the market.
The 2600x gives a 3% bottleneck on a 3060. Thats like 2 fps. When clocked tillen 4250mhz is should preform almost the same. But ofc the 5600x has newer tech , more l3 cache..so you get more like 30 fps above your fps with cpu intensive games

its more than playable on both resolutions in all games but damn it's just not a GREAT 1440p card, it is a good dual purpose card for gaming and for editing/design with that vram.
The only thing it struggled with on 1440p was flight sim and cyber punk which are both very demanding games on ultra setting but the system managed to keep 30 plus fps which is completely fine for a non competitive game
For 1440p with 3060 it's best to turn down settings from ultra to high(and maybe mix some settings for certain games) to gain some more fps(or use DLSS or FSR).
yeah if u strictly want all on ULTRA...just turn down shadows on medium or high, you gonna get fps boost for sure and dont lose much on image quality for sure...even in cyberpunk u can have more than 50 fps on 1440 p with DLSS for sure...so i think this card is really good for 1440 p,maybe not for 2160 p
In most games you can optimize the performance if the developers made a bad optimization to begin with. In NFS Heat for example the CPU usage does not use the CPU to its full potential, you need to go into an .ini file and adress your cores and threads in there and save it, it helped me gain around 20-30 fps more and less stuttering on top of that.
