Haha that's funny. You randomly picked Kinchlow Hollow. That is where my buddy's house is and where we stay for tournaments since we typically take off out of Shawnee Bend
I fished LOTO in the 60s. Hope to make it back this summer. Very good channel with usable info nicely presented. If you ever want to fish Chicamauga I’d be happy to take you out.
Really enjoyed this breakdown. It was really concise with information. When you talk about moving, do you have a rule of thumb as to how long you will stay in an area before leaving? Do you change baits/colors before making a move?
Usually I try a tactic/bait for an hour. If I don’t catch a fish or at least get some bites it’s time to change. Whether that is location, baits, or colors. General rule of thumb, try for at least one fish per hour. That will keep you from burning all of your time in an unproductive area. Don’t forget to fish the conditions, and if you’re confident in an area you can try it multiple times throughout the day.
Austin, great information again, do you think that an A-rig is effective in stained to dirty water? The proctor area is my home water, I just don't get bit on the A-rig??
Still effective in stained water, dirty water seems to be less effective. Try white swimbaits with chartreuse dipped tails, or any other color with good contrast. Also silver/gold blades are a must in stained water for me.
Thank you xplained very well from Ohio.
Great job
Thanks buddy
