Sometimes you just need a little more. You pay that bit extra to upgrade to Club Class, you upsize your takeaway order, you value the utility of a spare bedroom, even if you never invite guest s to stay. More isn't always better, but every now and again, it's reassuring to have a little extra in hand. That's Citroen's take anyway and in the slinky shape of its Grand C4 Picasso, it offered its compact MPV in a form that didn't mean you had to pack light. Here's how to track down a used example.

I bought an '07 1.8 for £700 3 years ago. It is everything I need; I can move large items of furniture, and it can carry 7 people - although I took out the 2 rear ones because they aren't necessary for me.
Only things I've had to do are some tyres, a balljoint, sway bars, brake pads and the usual oil changes every 6-8 months. It's such a voluminous car with oodles of headroom. The 1.8 manual has average power, and struggles on hills if loaded up, but it's sufficient and not really an issue for me.
If I get another car, I'd like to get another one with a sunroof and a 2 litre.

Great presentation and true this is a comfy seven seater. I own the 2008 GP 2.0 HDi, fully loaded with panoramic roof, leather seats, air suspension in the rear and DVD w two screens. Avg. consumption 5,3 liters per 100 km. The only downside is the jerky EGS gearbox.

Hy there! I'm interested in buying one just like yours.... Can you please give me an onest feedback of this car? Any pluses, minuses, costs, parts?

@@A.V.T.12-80 Jerky auto-manual gearbox, crappy quality interior, low on diesel, comfortable at high speeds, value if you compare other brands, no idea on parts since we have not replaced any yet.

I got a 2012 1.6 diesel automatic. true about the gear change slow an jurkey but a comfy drive none the less . I've been told off a few people now that these are the best 7 seater of its age just for practicality. looks and style don't come into it when you need the extra seats .

I have a 1.8 and it's slightly underpowered for the vehicle size, but it's not really an issue with me.
