A Lovely day riding the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway August 2024

On a very warm sunny day, we spent the day enjoying our favourite miniature railway.
What a railway, 15 inch gauge of pure joy. The engines are immaculate. I think the only dirty thing was the drivers faces after a hard days work on the plate. What would we give to have this line again at the back of our garden, we would be on it all day. LOVELY!

I go from time to time. Think I'll take a visit shortly. I love this atmospheric railway, and the Dungeness landscape.

long time ago had a ride, 1960's...great then great now

We love this railway, like you we rode it in the 60's as we lived in St Mary's bay. We try to visit once a year if possible. Roll on our next visit also the day that number 8 Hurricane returns to traffic after it's complete overhaul, not long now we were told.
