I remember one in 1990 where someone's entire front axel (with both front tires still attached) ripped out.

The only thing that Colt thought about besides the barn, was the storage shed with nobody in it.

Tough event for Snake bite. Bigfoot and Bearfoot (and later Taurus) were too far ahead of the competition. Black Stallion, what a cool truck. I didn't knew Bad Medicine, very nice too.

It never gets old watching Bigfoot spank King Krunch's ass in these races after the way Scott Stephens behaved in regards to Bigfoot #8's introduction.

@@fernandochaves9665 It's a bit of a story, but the short end of it is that in the late 1980's when they really started getting serious doing side by side racing the older leaf sprung trucks we're hurting drivers because their primitive suspension setup wasn't really suited well to landing after taking 10+ feet of air at high speed, so to remedy this issue Bob Chandler developed Bigfoot #8 which used a state of the art long travel suspension and tube frame chassis with fiberglass body paneling, essentially laying the groundwork out for what monster trucks are today. Bigfoot #8 was a radical departure from any previous monster truck and was much better suited to racing.
This is where Scott Stephens comes in, He was essentially a spear head in getting Bigfoot #8 banned from competition for a year by stating that the trucks radical design made it pretty much unbeatable to any of the contemporary trucks of the time which is honestly true, but instead of working to develop his own machine that could compete "like others at the time we're doing" he opted to make a stink about it and get a the safest monster truck on the circuit at the time banned simply because he didn't like losing. In any case, Bigfoot came back with their old warhorse Bigfoot #4 and handily wiped the floor with King Krunch and Scott Stephens that season anyway so his fight was moot in the end anyway.

Very interesting story. Yes, Bigfoot 8 was so advanced that forced other teams to jump into the future too to stay competitive. That proves again that Bob Chandler is definitely THE man speaking about monster trucks. Thank you for taking the time, nobody seems to reply comments anymore.
