I think there is a difference between the wrestlers saying something to their boss and a writer who is there to work backstage and keep the show going. I think it's easier for a writer to approach the boss about this type of thing than the wrestler who has to perform. Just my opinion. Love the conversation.

Tony has never had to strive to be exceptional at anything in his life with that silver spoon in his mouth. Just like EC3 mentioned. Tony has not had much adversity in his life (it would appear) and wether we as humans love it or hate it, adversity is the spice of life. It’s those battles and the overcoming that mold us into who we are. Without those you get what we have here with Tony.
We hear the comparison to Tony and his roster as a kid playing with action figures
, often. That sticks because it’s true. He’s a fortunate kid that is having fun playing wrestling but I’m starting to believe he has zero real interest in creating a successful business. He just wants to “play”. He’s not thinking about the wrestlers, he’s not thinking about fans, he’s focused on Tony doing what he wants to do. They need to make some serious changes to WWE first of all get a new stage set up. Even when Russo was booking WCW, which was against a white hot WWF in late 1999 through 2000, Nitro was still pulling between 2.5 and 3.5 ratings. And wrestling viewers at that time were almost exclusively in that 18-34 demo that is so coveted too. Dynamite has never come close to pulling a 2.5. Tony would be over the moon if Dynamite pulled a 1.5.
