I downsized so drastically, my kitchen is now 1/6 what I had. What a challenge to be realistic about what has to go! I put a cute, closed, storage cabinet on the wall that looks like a Victorian house (decor!). Sentimental framed art hangs beside it. An old cabinet door is being repurposed with a Bible verse and hooks for measuring cups and spoons and potholders. Because the kitchen, dining nook and living room are one big room, I have a coffee bar with cute containers. Decorative boxes hide items against the back splash and above cabinets. Drawers are very organized with dividers. I am still figuring out what can go on garage shelves or under the bed and sofas. Thankfully, the laundry room has room for a small shelving unit behind the door for canned goods. I love a challenge, but it seems they just get harder as I age.
Mine is way smaller. I wear size 8 shoes, if I go toe-toe-3 times, that is the width of my kitchen! Haven’t measured using my feet. Probably 5 times. I am not home right now!
I love to eat out. The restaurants in my area are experiencing a reduction in food quality and an increase in pricing. The tips on using Wayfair’s products and your modern design style really helped in making decisions to revamp my tiny kitchen. Thanks!!!
Great to hear your ideas Kiva. I have a small kitchen and the only thing I would add is a buffet or some storage in the dining area. I put a lot of things I don't use all the time. I prefer that to storage on top of the cabinets. Just a little easier to get to.. but its good to have options based on space and budget/ Thanks for your great content and hard work this year. Happy Holidays to you and babe!
Although this video is nothing new, nothing interesting or mind blowing, i do enjoy your flow of informatiive, intelligent collection of ideas that dont repeat same ideas and adjectives. You or whoever writes the script has done a great job and You deliver it well. I would have liked to have seen cabinet or drawer storage by Wayfair. Perhaps pots and pans...cooking in a small kitchen to me is about function. Tools beyond air frying or the tools that take airfrying to another level.i am going to end here because this videos content was so disappointing when i think about the missed opportunity to spend 17 min to introduce something new
Buying in bulk (meaning buying a large quantity to save money) is not useful if you can't store it. However, that doesn't mean not buying from the bulk bins. Bulk bins allow you to buy exactly the amount you need, down to a teaspoon or less, which definitely saves space in a tiny kitchen.
Wow! What a Grinch of a landlord. I've been using command strips. When I remove them there is literally no evidence that they were there. Hope this helps.
Interior Motives is the name of Christopher Lowell's very famous and popular former TV decorating series. I disapprove of your using his name and reputation. Do you have official permission to use it?
Her presentation was awesome. No uhs and ahs with her speaking.

I m always into organizing and decluttering. Thanks Kiva!

Spices need to be away from heat and moisture.

Also seeds etc. (Lentils, grains, nuts etc.)

I loved the dome pendant lights. Clicked on the link and they are all out of stock. 😢

Need to see the finished REAL kitchen
Oh Diva!🙂
I don’t find this kitchen small.
The dad jokes are popping
Kiva!
The dwelling place was a book adapted for TV about a girl living in a cave. 😂 but nobody wants to cook in a cave.
😂
😍
I’ve had huge kitchens ,they are great if you never cook….lol
