This video just reminds me how unlucky we were to never get the PS3 version of ToV over here. Flynn is my favourite character and this just makes him look like a real blast to play as. Oh well, still an awesome video.
Never gets old Flynn is pretty cool, I just purchased the ps3 version of Vesperia at one of the game stores in my Prefecture in Japan, I'm looking forward to playing it and seeing how different it is than the xbox 360 version.
I completed my 2nd walkthrough of TOV on XBOX 360 a few years back and I've just reserved a copy of this for PS3 at my local store which was surprising, as I heard it was quite difficult to get the PS3 copy locally in Singapore. Whatever the case is, I'm definitely excited to play it through again and see all the extra gameplay :)
Good luck with your play through. I know it will be amazing. The PS3 version of Tales of Vesperia has more content than other tales game as of right now and puts Graces F, Xillia, and Xillia 2 to shame. Similar to you, I will be trying to get a copy but I live in the U.S. I do have the money and I will be willing To pay whatever the amount is online.
Does anyone else notice how 90% of his arrest are directly taken from Stahn from Tales of Destiny? Even his second mystic arte was Stahn's, wasn't it?!
@dagoldenclip2 Yeah, it's not even that big a deal, since you can export the game. There are probably even some translations to the story and cutscenes around.
this is kind of correct, he joins you at various points in the game Ghasfarost and Zaude being two of the places, then he joins permanently for the final dungeon
Yeah, it's the same voice actor, Miyano Mamoru (That's the main reason I want ToV on PS3, because I found that the voice actor is the same of the protagonist from my favorite anime and one of the best character ever :P)
I seriously struggled to find Talse of Vesperia in the UK, i Had to download it so I'm sure they would have no problems selling it as it did get sold out over here on the 360
@aode18 yeah because going through the trouble of reprogramming the whole game for no other visible reason for all countries other than japan isn't racist at all
I honestly don't know how you get Flynn as a party members and as a playable character. It would be nice to find out how to get him as a party member. Would someone tell me how, please?
@TheDim15000 It's not racist, it's responsible. If a company simply starts selling their stuff EVERYWHERE, there will be a lot of issues like translations and distribution, and if the money they get is not enough to pay for what they're doing, it's not good business. If it was that simple to sell a game, don't you think they would have done that already?
I was talking about Symphonia, I mean obviously the PS3 version of Vesperia is better than the 360 version but the voice-acting has nothing to do with it, it's the fact that it has like 25% more content
Yeah, of course sometimes even Japanese actors sucks, but in Vesperia are awesome. English ones too, I agree, almost better, but just saying that I want original voices is enough for me .-. I think Vesperia has one of the best english dubs ever, but I will always prefer japanese ones because that are the original ones...
ughh he's so cool, it's just such a travesty that he wasn't included in the 360 version of the game. Japanese sony supporters catch these little breaks going all the way back to symphonia and the tales of destiny director's cut haha
Since all I have is the 360 version, I hate how they taunt you with Flynn's epicures in 100-man melee. The brief moment you can play as him, he's kinda garbage.
I disagree, it depends on the actors themselves, I've watched some anime and played some games were the Japanese actors were fucking terrible, and the English actors did a much better job.

Most of his artes are from Cless from Tales of Phantasia, where Stahn got most of his from.
So must of his artes are a mix of Guy's and Zelos/Kratos'

The PS2 version of Symphonia wasn't that much better, it just had slightly better graphics and more mystic artes.

as long as namco dosent give us a 360 remake or a ps3 version i consider them racist for taking out half of the game for no reason
